first RvR death ever was to Cruz and I must have been a grey con, did I cry? NO

First XP loss RvR death was to some nameless Skald of even con but with a 40+ player mezzing for him, wiped out 3 of us and all to xp loss. did we cry on the boards? NO

So what the hell is your problem? Each realm is as bad as the other for doing this so why cry? If you're in the frontier you're fair game, end of story.

and btw Cruz rocks ...I only say this in the vain hope that next time he sees me in Emain/Yggdra/Cruachan he will let me live

ok, for all you whiners out there:

Usp is certifiably 110% an XP killer, cause I got fed up with all the rubbish after my alt was XP killed for the n'th time.

As said before, I see anyone in the frontier, I kill them (with a few exceptions of course, /kiss Faye )

If you don't want to lose XP when you get killed by an enemy player, don't go near a mob in the frontier.

If you want to XP without players killing you and you losing XP, don't XP in the frontier.

This goes for Hibs too, I have grown tired of telling people in guildchat not to XP in the frontier. I will try and help them, but it's up to them if they do.

As Iominali says, try to think that being left alive by a P+++ as lucky, that they are in a generous mood.

You want more people your own level to fight.... how does xp killing greys help this?

I remember one time, after a bit of pk camping, the albs came charging out
we ganked most of them
O told my group of lvl 35-30's to pull back so they could rez, while another group stayed and camped the bodies....

asked why they wouldn't let them rez thier dead, they responded - they never let us do it

After explainging that we're here for some fun, and hopefuly a nice fight.... if we didn't allow them to rez, there would be no-one to fight

RvR is about having fun, and so is this game.... not about who has the best weapons, or highest level character.... people play this game because they want to.... if you guys scare away people from RvR by ganking greys, there's not gonna be a lo of people to play with once everyone reach their 40's+

Prydwen is hardly full as it is.... we need everyone to stay

and some people take this game way too serious

ahhh, this thread has made me laugh.
When it comes to it I am a bit of a hypocrit, as I will not normally kill greys or greens unless they are silly enough to attack me first....but whenever one of our scouts/infils are down in yggdra and they mention a grey/green con xping...i'm normally one of the first to yell KILL IT!!

And its pretty simple really..you can say what you like, eg middie is too strong, xp kills weaken them etc
But the real reason we do this, is because we enjoy it...plain and simple. We know that they would do the exact same thing to us if it was the other way around.

This is proven by the fact that we had a guild trip to yggdra today...most of us 35+, and we killed everything in site..and was having a great time, until one of our theurs had the great idea of casting his pets on a middie running towards the frontier keep, guards come running, everyone dead...i'm left all alone while about 6 green con middie charge at me....20 seconds later...i'm still alone..and a red con troll whacks me dead

Could anyone point me in the general direction to where alb's and hib's low lvl's xp in the frontier. Until today I been a fair sport , letting peopel rezz , not killing grey con , not xp killing peopel , but that changed today after me and friends got xp kill'd several times in Ygg today with low lvl chars ( around lvl 20 ) right at gates where its commen knowledge only low lvl's hunt, but alas thats the risk we take you say, well tis may be true but I will now rezz kill and xp kill any enemy at any time , what ever might happen from now on, evenst and what not ya will not be safe, and if some other mid's let your healer wander out to rezz ya peopel , never go without fear cause i'll be sure to try to kill ya just as you rezz him , so I can kill him again

Where in emain last nite, and manage to pull goberchend or what their name is, purp to me. So i sprinted and manage to pull two amand touched, and out of no where three purp alb, showed up and killed the gobs, while i dealt with the amand, when the fight was over they saluted, and let me heal. then we engaged, and i died. Was fun thou.

Well I have had quite a few exp deaths in all three realms (yes I get about a bit), I have been killed by hibs / mids and I dont care as it is part of the game and I know I will do the same to you if I see you.

Hibs don't really exp in the frontier, we seem to have monsters that do the job inside our gates.

Please though, by all means, come to our gates (not the big valley one) and come find us. We are there, it's just that the monsters we fight are a little out the way.

Around the lake yes.....also around the path as well. Not many however so don't expect Yggdra numbers.

You will probably find quite a few 35+ xp'ing in Snowdonia looking for drops from arawanites etc. But TBH we dont really need to xp in the frontier there are plenty of better (safer) places in within our borders.

You could try Forest Sauvage, around the border keep. You sometimes get lvl 20 - 25's hunting forest giants, beechwoods etc.

Bah Forest Sauvage is dead. And there's so many lovely camps there, I don't get why noone hunts there. The great thing is even I can be stealther there... just stand inside one of them giants .

As for the Yggrda thing last night...<shrug> you know we're out there, we killed alot of you. Even after we killed about 20-25 people we still saw grey/green cons running out of the gates in little groups to fight ettins and whatever runs around there.

I tried to hunt in Sauvage when I first started, then we all got wiped out by one high level Mid archer. Probably Sinister, so I never went back <shrugs>.

A lot of other Albs probably did the same thing and figured whats the point in xp'ing in the frontier. There are plenty of other places to hunt when you wont get one-shotted by some bored Mid/Hib.

I was told that Sinister and Thing have both sold their accounts so it is possible that whoever you saw getting killed was actually their new owner and not the original person.

The one thing about this thread I have learnt is that most people, no matter what realm, seem decent enough people to understand that ganking goes on and will always go on.

The fact that we are sharing exp spots goes to prove that. If this thread serves any purpose, it's that it should hopefully get people wanting to go into the frontier more.

I'm quite proud that hardly any players have named anybody for exp kills and it goes to prove what a good server us Prydwens have. So lets get more people out in the frontier, especially the Hibs and Albs. Yggdra is a nice place to visit occasionally but I feel like bashing some plate in sometimes.

well i have read nearly every post here and frankly i am laughing like hell.

i have exp killed whole groups in yggdra (sp?) and thought it was hilarious, kill the healer watch everyone get sloobed, serves them right for being there in the 1st place.

i even managed to get a troll who was pulling before the mob got him, now that one i was proud of! if i draw my bow for a crit shot and you pull tuff crap simple as that.

i would expect the same if i was exping in the frontier, think i might log on and head to yggdra (sp? dont really care..) and sloob some grey con healer and laugh my ass off while his group is getting killed.

I have to say that i have XPed alot around Snowdonia fortress and very much enjoyed it. Lots of neutral mobs that are excellent for an Infiltrator with low stealth to camp.

Heh, i even did the frog rider quest (Worry Wort) the other day when we didn't have Hurbury. Three deaths to the bloody border patrol and i had to kill Worry two times. No xp death though

I believe the reason our lowbies xp in yggdra isnt cos its good xp, but also cos they see some rvr action (even if sometimes they are 1 shot by archers), I saw a group of early 20's today going out to look for rvr in yggdra while xping

I read above that u dont xp in your frontier cos u might be killed? u boring ppl, nothing will be more fun for u than killing a purple con invader

Got more rps off them than the Mids we encountered


Oh when i go there i try to have a bit of fun ( meleed it out with a green con zerker- he hit hard for a green)

the funnyest thing thats heppened to me was when a gray con skald managed to kill me- he didn't harm me but his attacking ment my run song wouldn't work and the high lvl mids chasing me caught up with me and killed me lol. Gratz to who ever you are

hehe that has happened often.. greys assisting me killing invaders.
All they need to do is prolong the fight as long as possible so we can see the invader while fighting (90% seem to be stealthers) and attack.
But its also true we get lvl <30 invaders in yggdra so our middle lvls can get some action
