They wanted to keep it as "macho" as the trans-am, and they very well couldn't take a trans-am as it was, so i guess if they have to change the car, that's as good as any choice.

Noone will like it as much as the cr*p classic anyway.

It looks god awful from the trailer. But it's probably going to be aimed at kids rather that people who remember the original.
