That's why your tanks deal way nicer damage than our tanks.

And yes my template has 9% style damage and 10% melee damage.

BTW those two fights in the video was the only one's I recorded, my PC crashed twice later in the same evening so I stopped using fraps.

Think Spec AF provides ~ 10%-15% damage reduction. Also most Tanks / Support (exception BM's and Bards) are vun to Slash, Albs are neutral. Will account for some of the damage differential... but not all.

My merc was slash til recently and that would be devastating for your zerk. its capped dmg every swing.

im crush now and its not very bad on mid studded either.

Hmm 150-200 is pretty normal for me aswell on alb without str relic.
Then you face hibs and hit hibs tank for like 100% more then you hit a alb caster.
So i guess specc af is to blame here but then again push 2 buttons and the zerker do ~600-1000 dmg / swing ..

Most of the times I zerk, some stupid tank comes and either A: grapples me or B: stuns me (which is REALLY easy to do because parry/evade is removed when you are in zerkmode).

Zerkmode needs some loving before I start using it on a more regular basis...

My caba gets hit for less than my champ used to be hit, and that was before toa so no +melee dmg +style dmg bonuses etc.. I would have to say spec af has a massive impact on damage.

Not that you never get hit hard with spec af, but it seems far rarer

Zerk isn't cannon fodder in NF, at least not as much.(good to see a zerk on pryd though, rarely see them now and which i have no idea why either since they are still a damn good class if you hit that behind chain a lot)

Spec Af does help Albs a lot, plus ablative. Tiffa has how much AF? Rare to hit for high damage on her. Mids, Chronicle has high AF. Mind you least Albs dont have that sick SM pet. Can have 3 melee on a sm and pet take 80% of everything. Caster damage far outweighs melee damage right now. It isn't just the single nuke its 3 nukes in about 3.3s for 2k from range. In the past you could usually charge down a caster while he dded you and be alive to hit him. Now if you do reach him alive your almost gone.

could be, those 3 fg hiblets that bottlenecked at hmgO just when KN came thru totally made me aggro a bit before, that might have something to do with it
im no saint, nor have i ever claimed to be one... tho usually i dont run immune in odins <desperate try not to come off like a lamo>

and just FYI we didnt run on stick... i kinda called a small alarm in /as after we ran into those 3fg... so can blame me and my impulses if you like, sorry for getting you zerged /blush

Twinked RR5 Alb-casters with good TOA-gear and a good buffbot (MOTA3+, 25% enhance bonus) have about the same AF as my druid had pre-TOA RR5+

Surely they lack absorb; yes. But they also dont have any armour-vulnerabilities.

Have 638 af buffed on my cabby, or 653 if I equip dreamsphere (tho rest of my stats are b0rked then ).. which is rather stupidly high yes ;o However, NF is a nerf to spec AF with the removal of mota since spec AF presently has no cap (so mota5 effects it fully).. and I doubt you'll find any casters who can afford to spec highly in PD, personallythe max I'll be able to afford is prob pd1
