Damn you for pointing this show out to me. I didn't get to sleep till about 4am for watching it. Plus it's not getting renewed so I'm only going to end up suffering as a result.
OMG Katrina Gent! I honestly did not see that coming. Great stuff between Silus and David, only 3 episodes left, you just know they are going to end the fucking thing on a cliff-hanger. Never to be continued
I thought they'd keep Katrina Gent around a bit longer and have some sort of powerplay between her / the queen and then have her winning but screwed anyway when David becomes king.
I really hope they don't end on a cliffhanger I'm hoping for David on the throne the crown being placed on his head - w/ the rest of the ideas left for when he's king what happens type stuff so we dont get owned
Actual SPOILER STUFF HERE
Jack presides over the trial of David but I'm guessing finds him innocent?
Death/god from the prior episode comes and tells Silas that he has to GTFO and David gets crowned?
It depends a lot on the power play from Jack, also think William will have more involvement. Maybe Gent is not as dead as we think -she seemed very resourceful.
Hope we get some books at the very least to tie up the storylines when this ends.
I could be wrong but isnt it based on the biblical story of david and goliath and just put into a modern day, so you could probally find how all loose ends would have been roughly tied up. Could be completly wrong tho

im half enjoying it but the CONSTANT "inspirational drama inducing" music and long gazes into the night sky and other similar cliché shit is doing my head in. HOW many times is someone going to walk in on David standing alone in a room when a party is going on and have a deep meaningful conversation with him? The writers are a bunch of unsophisicated bible heads imho.
Fair enough its full of religion and theres a lot of god going on but its pretty obvious that the reason it got cancelled is because its very firmly stated god exists (look at all the shit that happens) and networks these days are loathe to take anything but a pretty neutral position on anything.
Not so sure about episode 12 - it felt rushed to me.
It also opens up a much bigger plot that I imagine would have spanned season 2, not sure how well they can tie it up in one episode. It was still enjoyable though, and the acting as usual was top notch.
It's set up perfectly for a 2nd season as well. Culkin's character has a lot of promise, and will never get the chance. Enjoyed the final episode, but it's such a shame that it will be left open.
