As Sean Ryder would say, you Albs should "come and have a go if you think you're hard enough!"

nah can't be the brave big executive that has board meetings in RL or RL in his head , that was posting crap about people raiding at times his majesty was asleep.
but then again killing level 7 sounds as lame as his posts.
WTG !u must be strong.

Well must defend Killgorde here thou I do not like it, I dont think Killgorde was seeking to kill lowbies, he just happend to kill what ever came in his path that was killable, am I right?

Ahem, go on and flame master Killgorde all you like, he only did his job. Anyone wondered what a lvl7 is doing in the borderlands? All I can say is I will do the same as Killgorde did, if the opportunity shows.

Way to go Killgorde  hope you slammed him to death with your shield ;)

All Killg had to do was fart in his general direction and the guy would have died instantly anyway :)

Killgorde would have no idea what level this guy was, he was just a grey in the frontiers and I would have done precisely the same.

Oh, and what was a lvl7 doing in the frontiers anyway, sightseeing?

Indeed, a level7 is just as grey to a lvl50 as a lvl35.

You can never start too early to get to know your own frontier and know how to find your way to the relic keeps

Remember killing any greys, regardless of level serves another purpose in bringing out higher con Albs to come and find Killgorde. :)

Okay, so if this is the guys first ever character :-

Level 7 : "Hey got any advice, this is my first char ?"
Level 50 :"Yeah, get to the frontiers, it's never too early to start learning where your relic keeps are."

lol, good advice.

If this is this an alt, the guy should now where the freaking relic keeps are and know not to go the frontiers until you can at least kill some mobs there.

Level 7 has no reason to be in the frontiers at all (unless they went for a laugh). Ther are MAPS you know :p

It is a char made to log in excalibur and check every 3 hours if there is no attempt to take the relic or the doors are damaged?

Every dead enemy in a frontier is a good one, all I can say.

We set them up at Ellyls

As Killgorde has already stated in another thread, his guild seems to currently be making an effort at turning the Albion frontiers unsafe. Yesterday when we set out to hunt some Ellyls, we got word that another Ellyl group had just been killed twice by these foul invaders. So, instead of going there to do our own drophunting, we naturally all joined up and went there to hunt some Midgardian scalps.

Arriving at the Ellyl ruins at the zone border in Pennines, we proceeded to set up just like a normal xp/drop group and started pulling some Ellyls (we did get a few drops, actually, though that was not the purpose). Naturally, we had a lookout waiting for the inevitable return of Killgorde's team. Sure enough, after a while they did show up, coming in at full skald speed from behind. However, this time we were ready, and were able to turn and engage them in time while I snuck up from the rear and mezzed a few of them.

In the end, only Tempestblade of our group remained alive, but we did manage to wipe the Middie invaders. In fact, both Killgorde and Ebeneezer fell beneath my axe before I bit the grass. :)

The Elly score was, I think, Albs 8 CE 24 (Ebe is the statistition). Not brilliant, but things will improve, Just a bugger on one occasion (the fourth) our healer and my self had some baddass lagspikes. On the occasion Belomar referred to it was 8 (or possibly 9) against 4 with no mezzor. But /salute to Belomar for a whizz-bang fight ;)

And if I was the evil bastard Konah seems to portray (which I probably am) the Elly killings would have been done by Ellys rather than CE. If you guys want me to go down that route, its your call...but I do have some scruples (not many, I admit).

On the other issue (grey-ganking): While it is distasteful, unfortunately a grey has the same ability to compromise the security of (i.e. follow and report on) an enemy unit's position as any other con. Reality is harsh. The integrity of my party comes before any qualms about killing greys. And like someone asked: WTF is a level 7 doing in a +20 zone? Konah's alt perchance? A relic checker?

My only regret is that Teo (blue) was caught solo exping twice in the same place on the Pen/Sauv border and copped it. Sorry for that one m8. But if your realm had a bit more pride and determination in protecting it's borders the second death wouldn't have happened. Next time we come across you m8, we will give you safe passage back to your border gates as a gesture of goodwill ;)

See you guys there again later today, no doubt....

I'll be done fletching in a few hours, expect me to come guard that area.
Should I find said area empty I will proceed to HW, then to Yggdra.

Yes a fine fight. 4 vs 9 yellows was always going to be tough, but the surprise factor helped. We did well to take out 8 though.

/salute mids and albs there

The final tally was 37 Albs, 4 Hibs for 2 deaths each...not bad.

Highlights included:

Spanking Matinex and Lavelle in Sauvage (did you Albs a favour there)
Taking out Ignea and 2 friends in Pennies  (nice to get revenge on the nuker)
Having a bit of fun with Brynn (grey con). Mezzed him and let our runie hit him a bit with his staff for fun. Might have let him live if he fought back, but running off meant one of our skalds got trigger happy with the DD shout

Once I figure out how to convert big TGA files into jpegs I'll get my FTP going. Screenies coming.

Not really

It was a fine fight, and great valor was shown by both sides. However, there were only 8 of us there, 4 of which can have been yellow to you (3 level 50s and a level 47), the rest blue and green (our healer was a 39 friar).

I still regret not mezzing more than one of you from behind, or the outcome could have been a bit different. But I got too bloodthirsty so switched to sword after having mezzed you, Ebeneezer. :)

Very good work. Now if I only knew of a place in Mid or Hib frontiers where high-levels go to drop-hunt or xp... All you find in Uppland or Yggdra are greys (worth waving to after a mezz).
