Hard to organize 150+ peeps not to use any magic/poison but let's give it a try - I wanna see this old dragon napping in the dirt :D

(but I hope the dragon loot will not cause a similar reaction as the DF drops last time).

I'm in but could some1 keep track of who gets what on these big raids so the ppl who didn't get nething b4 have better chances next time. I know a hero got a spear when he already had 1 the same from the day b4 and gave it to his m8 when other heros got nothing.

Also takeing a load of the bounty points crystals for instant health and mana regain could save a few lifes

Having read that whole post on vn .. does that mean that any spellcasting/healing classes are absolutely useless on a dragon raid?? That seems just a tad biased, don't you think?

One post on vn mentioned that heals are safe if they are cast from right under the dragon's belly. Does the recipient of the heal also have to be under the belly?

Do I assume correctly that casters/healers will be needed to ensure the melee classes actually get to the dragon alive? Would that then mean they would be eligible for the drop lottery?

At lvl 43, I know it will be weeks/months before I go on a dragon raid .. just trying to find out if getting to 50 is worth it. So far, I'm almost reluctant to actually bother getting there.

As a 43 bard you're already badly needed on dragon raids, on the one that Novamir led we didn't have nearly enough bards to go around. The army has to fight its way there, and then (assuming the dragon doesn't just AOE us immediately again) there is a ton of rezzing to be done, and then (again, if we get that far) there are guards to be dealt with.

Think we can do it, can't be so much harder than the Legion. Worth a few tries imo, if someone willing to organize it and gather about 150 peeps or somthing, give all stright message that no magic have to be used.

Would be nice if hib excali is the first to kill it :D

I have one thing to add

I have one thing to add to this. When I tried to solo the dragon as a hero I still got the AoE spell killing me ( after blocking his first attack :-D ). See Legend of Camelots Dragon raid report

Noone else was casting spells and I attacked some time after the last spell was cast. This could mean that the melee attack only wont stop him from casting.

I read most of the posts on this thread and one tactic was nice and worked good so far:


1 rez team (rezzed all after dragon wiped them)
1 suicide team (rushes in to get first AOE)
rest is plain attackers (rush in to damage the dragon)

all uses dmg add from enchanters (although it's reported it only adds little dmg).

With this tactic they brought him down to 55% health but the second wave died insta to his AOE after the rezzer got them back up as they attacked. Sadly they didn't write about the directions where they attacked.

perhaps we can get more rezzers to get the army fast up and we would need shades to disease the dragon so i can't regenerate well.

Mentalists with HoT can get a tank to full health in no time and it costs little mana. bards could play mana in the meanwhile.

we would have to sit out 10 minutes (so everyone gets rid of the sickness).

A rebuffed second wave could be enough to bring him down a few more %. It would mean that we would have many death since every wave is a total wipeout.

we also could try to pull the guards out of the lair to give the dragon crew more free space.

How about a team of Bards confusing the knights in the lair to wipe that lot out (would be very hard in the zerg though)

And lol@Vulc that epic really doing my head in :D

Nah much better to get a mentalist to charm it and bring the dragon to emain and slaughter out alb PK haha :clap:

We knew that all the dragons were set a little too challenging, hence the recent changes. I have asked the encounter designer to poke into this. I can't just send him a link to this thread due to the chosen methods of self-expression, but the issue itself certainly sounds like we need to investigate right away. Thank you for bringing it to my attention, I do appreciate it.

I have a hard time believing that Sanya and the other Mythic staff have never actually noticed that every dragon has been killed but the Hibernian one, on any server, but whatever. At least now they will look into it and you never know - maybe Cuulderach is bugged and they will fix him.
