I read the Decent free mmo thread and ppl were mentioninig a soccer mmo so i decided to give it a try yesterday nite.

I made a DF and put my 10 starting points in goalkeeping hoping to emule the achievments of the greatests goalies, and to my surprise, on the initial levels, the goalkeeper is computer controlled

Did i totally wasted my time? Btw, DF sucks hard. Same defensive abilities than any other role but sucks donkey balls with speed, shooting and passing

And finnaly, when i got to lvl 2, i spent my xp points in fluff like an emo haircut ( rofl) and a RM shirt, then i realized there is training and abilities to purchase with xp points.

I hated it at first, but stuck to it for a while. I've now played it for 8 months or so and it's definately the best free mmo I've played. It may not be that fun at the first 10 levels, but it gets better at the higher levels when you find people who actually knows how to play it. Also, you'll be getting some uber cool tricks/shots/crosses etc

EDIT: and the defensive classes does get some very good defensive abillities. I god damn hate defenders, as they always tend to stop either my player, or my shot

- ow, and the GK position will be available at some point afaik

diablo, diablo2, titan quest. Quite a faggoty genre!

I think it is called simply action rpg aswell.
