Kicked From The 30 Guild

Have i done something so wrong to get kicked for this?

Was asking if any recruiters were online as i was going to get my other character into the guild if they accepted. New to the guild only level 8 and this was my main. I delayed replying as i was in mith and didnt see the text for about 10 seconds before he snapped his impatient reply at me.

Any new players out there avoid the 30 if this is what to expect.

anyway rules for joining the 30 : you have to be over lvl20 it has to be your main chr main server only realm on this server
along with that u have grouped alot with the 30 members and so on
as far as i remember cuz i have only recruitet the famely
and the 30 looks very diffrend from when i joined

I had a reply on the 30 forums it was from descado the guild leader? It appears this was probably the guy that booted me as he said something like........

"theres a lesson to be learnt there, along the lines of dont be a smart ass at 2am in the morning."

I used to be in the 30 and i used to have characters on this server at higher levels but i quit the game and i still have friends who are in the guild who are now upto level 50 who got me to join in the 1st place.

I think that to be honest its just a pathetic little saddo taking his anger out on me because hes having a hard time and it seems to indicate that he needs to get a life.

Thats not the t30 i know but then again...I have never talked to Insecure or whatever...Kinda hard to get kicked by a small thing like that imo..

But Officers make decisions..We just have to live with it.


Still..A officer cant treat ppl like they are nobodys..Talk to another officer in t30 and try to solve this matter in a mature way.

Nobody is perfect and it looks like this is the product of some built up tension.

Saying that, you cannot expect all to get along hunky-dory. I had a public spat on as chat with one 30 guild member, but other than that they are a great set of people.

On the subject of that spat, it was wrong and unfair for Geordie to raise that about me in my earlier post, when in fact another (unnamed) Shadowbreed member had a highly charged discussion on 30 as chat with Tupp about xp spots.

I've been bold enough to apologise openly on these boards about my recent behaviour, but it's disappointing that others cannot apologise for their recent actions. What I did on these boards was wrong, but that does not vindicate hurtful, untrue and hypocritical accusations from others.

Actually It was me that booted him. And yes it was harsh. Yes I acted early on the facts. however i notice that no one mentioned he was anon, i couldnt see his guild ranks (all alts of mains are promoted above joiner rank). Had he not been anon he would almost certainly have been asked further questions.

PS. As previously stated when I booted someone else who annoyed me in the guild *I* set up. I reserve the right to boot people with vowels in their name. You qualified.

How about pointing out to them that they were anon and telling them that you couldn't help them unless they properly identified themselves? It ain't unusual for people to have been anon for a reason and to forget to turn it off.

To DES and all members of the 30,

I was a member of the guild once but because of my own stupidity i left, now NOONE can say it was wrong to remove him from the guild there had to be a reason, Des would never boot any from the guild unless nesserasy(can't spell that word). During my time in "the 30" i learned LOADS from them they are the best bunch of peeps u can hope to know and if i was stuck in RvR with trolls around me i would rather have Des or any member of "the 30" with me because they honour comrades and friends and alway try there best at making u feel wanted and helpful.

Just like to let everyone know that I WAS NOT ON ANON as i had just installed the damn game a few mins b4 this and havent yet even set up hardly any macros or anything. The only way ppl who i know can see when im online is if i am NOT on anon so why would i have ANON switched on when im level 8????

Regardless of whether i had been on anon which i was NOT, kicking me from the guild for whats on that chat picture is a joke.

I did however check to see at the time who he was and i had no idea of his level or anything till i checked on the guild listings in the 30 site because yeps u guessed it INSECURE WAS ON ANON (quick KICK him out now for being a smart ass anon'er!!!!).

PS: I was on that late as i had been messing with my new graphics card i had bought that day and had just installed windows xp and all of this took forever but i was determined to see what the gfx were like on a game.

Descado however was on that late because booting ppl from the guild HE started (give him a medal) somehow empowers him and raises that self esteem that seems to be quite low nowadays. Probably due to all the guys leaving the guild because they realise what an idiot he is.

Seem there leader does take the game to seriously, and might not have a life-outside it,

So my Advice, stay away from The 30, Albion/Prydwen has some very nice guilds,

Just don't let buttholes like him put you off...

Sounds like des was having a really bad day and acted hastily.. I know I've done the same before and regretted my actions in the future. In my case though, the guy I had a go at unnecessarily stayed calm, tried to convey his point of view, and contacted my gm to ask if I was usually like that. Due to his restraint and subsequent talks, I realised what I did was uncalled for, and apologised, and everythign was sorted out. It wasn't anythign he did really, just a case of me being stressed out by a long day at uni, and him being the unfortunate person to do something minor enough to annoy me and push me past the threshhold. His understanding in that situation was somethign I've seen from several the 30 members so far. He could have quite easily posted logs all over the place and ruined what reputation I had, but he didn't. I think Desc acted in haste, probably after a bad day, but the fact that one of p1g's first replies was to threaten to post on the forums, and subsequently do, in an effort to hurt his rep, rather than try and sort it out through rational conversation, especially considering he was in the right, and desc was in the wrong (imo), was a bad move. Tbh, I don't think desc will be too gutted about having (possibly)wrongfully booted you after what you have posted here now anyway...
