You mention GTAOE being used to attack lords room...
Can anyone confirm that to do that you have to be in the room itself for a second or two to set your target.
I was under the impression that you can only set GTAOE targets at the same level (or lower) than yourself... but reading that made me wonder whether you can raise your target to above yourself and effectivle target the lords room from the courtyard.

confirm/deny please.

Just something I noticed in keep takes, why do mages insist of taking out the crappy wall archers...surely they are far more usefull if used as a place to land AOE's off?

And their bow damage is crap.

I agree, but dont say it here, case this was about us defending keeps, not giving the others hints to take them over =)

Its a brilliant idea though, if no one actually kill the archers, then we could keep the area dots and messes on the walls under the full assault, and albs is the only realm with climbable area mess, so the rest off us might need it =)

I just KNOW im gonna feel the sharp end for this one, but I cant stand ignorance.


If you buff the lvl 10 guards then they can do almost 600dmg on targets with crappy resists (read newbies, sub-50's and non-twinks)
Around 3-400dmg on targets with capped melee resists.


If I now attack a hib keep, I will EXPECT to be hit for 300, ATLEAST!

Otherwise I will persnally yell at you for being newbies through my funnel, Cuddlykeen.


Take THAT you demons of ignorance! :p


(I blame being tired and watching startrek-nemesis :p )

dont forget they can do that back at u too :x

lvl10 keep archers doesnt have crap dmg :x they hit fckn hard... like 500+ dmg ;x

Would you care to share with the rest of us how this is done please?

F5 starts off targeting system. L R U D arrows move the target left, right, further away, closer.

Whats "up" and "down" then?

there are keys who bring it up and down, not sure what they are called but for me its page up and page down..

well for me it changes the gtae target up/down when scrolling with the wheel on the mouse.. dont think ive made any changes to that.. so should be default

sorted! its the mouse wheel for me too.

Oddly enough, even though the z axis indivator rises and falls, you still get the little target indicator on the floor when you cast.. odd that.

Still, thanks all :)
