Keep Claiming

Okay all those of you who go rvr will have realised by now, all mid/alb keeps aare claimed nearly all of the time, there guilds generally take a keep and use it as there own, and because of this attitude will rush there to defend.

my question is. why do we generally not claim our keeps in hib? and let them have lvl 1-2 doors?

I'm trying to start an intitiative where we actually care for our keeps, and to show this EE have now claimed nged and have started to upgrade the doors.

We are not one of the biggest guilds, but by hell, if anyone comes near that keep, we will throw our bodies at them repeatedly untill malevolencia turns up and kills them all.

So come on hibernian guilds... claim a keep as your own, and maybe the mids and albs won't think of coming to hib everytime to open df!

Conquest have Hold own keeps sinse day 5 after we where created... we have hold bolg for a long time (and upgraded both doors to over 5) we have hold crim for 1 week and keeps in enemy fronteer keeps.

we are the first to do masive suiside and run to our keep if its under attack no matter what we doing. (we disbaned a prince raid after 1 prince down and was almost at next) just to defend OUR keep.

We have opened DF and organiced Keep the last times we have had DF, we have taken back our keeps when none else cared. (like DC 4 days ago)

So we run alot around in emain killing enemys with so called L337 grps. but thats what we enjoy with the game. You migth like to make alts and do zerg exp, or craft, we have all a role in the game. You dont see us flameing you becose you wana do something else in this game do you?

May i touch you?

In my opinion, Conquest is just a bunch of RP whores who ruin the RvR for casual rvrers like myself. You don´t want to group with other ppl, and you wouldn´t do anything for the realm if it didn´t involve RPs.
I miss the days we didn´t have guilds like Conquest and Nolby. We got our butts kicked by the SotL crew ye, but RvR was still fun. Now, RvRing is impossible if you don´t have a few buffbots and a bard in your group, or a conquest or Nolby group will reach the mg before you and clear it.
Oh, and if you´d checked around the community(that is outside conquest), You´d know I care for the keeps. I have often organised keepretakes, just because our keep was held by an enemy realm. And that was when it didn´t have a single RP inside.
You are what f*cked up this server, I miss the old times. Here´s your chance, flame me to hell, I couldn´t care less.
Thank god I left this server/game.

I'm really sorry if we destoyed your perfect world with our Guild groups, and not going to emain wo bard or buff bots. How can i make it up to you sir?

Leave bots logged off and say to bards plz dont join becose we are going to use chanter speed and we dont want any mezz? Or how about we start alts and xp?

When we RvR we like to use guild members for sevral reasons.
1) We are in a guild and by guild to me is; ppl that play together may that be exp rvr or drop hunts.
2) We know what we get, kinda enoing to die foolish deaths cose a menta use AE dot on mezzed enemys, or druid that dont heal, bard that dont mezz and so on.
3) friendship

My world wasn´t perfect. We went to Emain with a gimped group, just to get our ass kicked by the SotL crew, but it was FUN. It was FUN for the other Hibbies running around Emain, we COMMUNICATED(that means non-/gu communication) with each other.
Now, it´s a guild/regular group that gets all the fun, not caring about the other Hibbies.

From what I hear you are a NS, and NS are charracters that really help your realm are you not?

Ofc you dont get invited to fixed groups and our/NP groups as a NS...No need to become a grumpy board troll becose of it. the charracter is a solo charracter (I have a 50 sb on mid exc so i know what im talking about)

keeps for rps.... its 1000 rps per hour i think for a keep in your own frontier... and if you have a full guildgroup and kill 1 enemy = 2000 guild rps... yeah they really do it for rps...

1000 rps per difficulty level of the keep, the amount of rps you gain has nothing to do with how many levels you've upgraded it. ( so a difficulty lvl 2 keep gives 2000 rps per hour )

I didn't make this to become a Leet group whine, or RvR guild whine, because i hold no grudges against either Np or conquest, mainly because if i ask them for help in keep retakes or keep defense i can be assured they will join the Cg and at least contribute,

This compares to the normal attitude of hibs which is, that they'd prefer to exp an alt rather then contribute to anything.

All i was trying to do was make people think about getting there Guilds to claim keeps, and keep them above lvl 3.

I care about the realm, i was pissed of with the slow response to the relic raid on us where we lst our relics. i was pissed off with the fact the mids romped through unclaimed keeps in about 5 seconds, and no one was around to stp them. I died around 6 times solo trying to at least slow them down getting to the relic keep... i spent alot of time trying to stop them. i even tried consecutive attempts at retaking our mid claimed/alb claimed keeps.

But people didn't want to know. maybe if we got some pride about our realm we'd start to actually achieve things, maybe if u cared for your guilds honour then you'd run and protect your keep if its under attack,

I already know people will tell me its a game, and they can play how they like, but this is a team game, similer to the way rugby or football is, the team has to work and band together, no matter how hard it gets... and all work towards the same aim......

More guilds should claim keeps I agree Cher. Rvr in my opinion is supposed to be about taking keeps/relics and defending those keeps/relics, not just about running around emain farming rp's from each other, this is not rvr.


I don't hate anyone and I'm very patient, but just the mentality of a few guilds (not people but now it's whole guilds) that have joined Hibernia lately now put me in a position where I just don't feel I belong there anymore and nor do I want to be there anymore. I've always hated Albion for one reason or another but Hibernia over the last month or two actually makes this place seem like heaven I'm enjoying the game a bit more again now and I'll soon be invading you and seeing just how good you all really are(n't)

a smallish guild thats rvr based .. and afaik we never said we were uber we just play together (usually rvr as we tend to enjoy that more than fighting npcs) you all jumped to your own conclusions, and conquest has done more keep takes than most guilds since keeps got harder .. and we create cgs and join them if they are needed.. we dont only rvr with other conquest people but they do get priority as they are friends and we know each other.. thought that was the idea behind guilds? as for hib being friendly never met that hib but ive only been playing since june.. the are friendly people but usually got left at a gate 'communicating' with people in a cg however not playing much p.s whats going on tarer? heard you were taking a few weeks break then coming back? or youve gone for the foreseeable future now?
