Not being funny but I was kind of suprised you all didnt know, as I assumed you was a clan, and clans are made to play matches kind of thing

Especially a clan big enough to have different offensive and defensive sides.

Ok,

It is easy to enforce the picking up of snipers (and carry over to next map) with a simple mod. This is besides the point though. I could't care less if you swapped players half way through tbh. It makes no difference in terms of gameplay. If anything it gives us an advantage (if I was taking it seriously). Like Will said though we aer not teh bosses. SO it's all up to throd.

I'm all for dropping a few of the rules in favour of a less serious game.

How about we play the match clan stylee, then for the next hour just have a kickabout on the server with everyone on the same teamspeak/ventrillo channel for enhanced banter.??

If you want to muck about just say so m8, we'll forget about the whole thing, you're welcome to visit our server and we'll just play a few games
As far as your particular points go, well FG42 /Panzer are disallowed on just about EVERY clan server ive ever been on, one sniper per team stops it from becoming a total camp fest and 10 rounds per side is absolutely how it is done everywhere. One map? Well thats because 10 rounds each way (as it were!) takes about an hour, and thats generally enough for most people, including me

Ahh yes we are a clan quite a longstanding one as well however our game is elite force where we play ctf which consists of 3 maps at 20 mins per map and we have always lived by the philosophy that if a game comes with a weapon you can use it unless you specialise into one of the mods ie specialties (different roles) or disintegration (you will know this as instagib), so please excuse my ignorance. However no fg42 or panz is like saying no quad or boots or golden shield in ef.

We play battlefield and cod (to some extent for "fun") ie because we are large enough we play internally (using std settings) 5 v 5 ish and sometimes romp about on a public server.

This will be our first "clan match" for this game so no we do not know how it is played by everyone else it isn't even our std mod we play retrieval normally.

I believe this whole thing came about from leggy and I and a bit of bravado in irc. It was never meant to be a "serious" challenge but some fun.

We will play by "your rules" however I will be sitting this one out.

Game's still on and I finally worked out how to put my name in.

Now then... which button do I use to move, and what level do I need to be before I get a Perforate Artery move? Also, could someone tell me which cave I need to go in to get myself a Necklace of Perfect Sniping? I heard they were dropped by the Legoviathan in the depths of Carentan halls, but I have been searching for ages and never found that particular mob.

I'd also like some advice about the AI soldiers I keep seeing around the place. They seem to me to be very bloody accurate and nasty, and they seem to kill me all the time. Am I doing something wrong? Will they be there during the match?

It was a bit of a gift...you throw a grenade up there, and there isn't any cover to escape to. You run out, I shoot you, you stay still, you blow up.

Very good game, we should do it again some time. I was worried with that scoreline that you wouldn't want to play again, but it was closer than the score suggests, and Yoni told me you all had a good time.
