I hope this kid is a bit better at the sport. (Anyone know?)

Karate kid never did it for me. I was just annoyed at his bad stance, crappy guard and for doing tecniques he couldn't do. They should have picked someone who actually knew some karate :/

Yeah that really bugged me, in this hollywood production of a kid who finds an exmilitary japanese teacher who uses wax-on tactics to teach karate, warm hands to heal broken bones and helps him win a karate tournament with a crane kick, too. Reality.

Well i dunno, look at Ralph Macchio. He's been in...

He's famous for...

He recently...

I get your point.

Oh come on - that episode where he plays himself in Entourage was cool. It being in the Playboy Mansion made the episode *cough* slightly more appealing too :p

Some movies are classics and should not be touched but i think there's too much romanticizing of old movies these days....and i think the second and third karate kid movies were piss poor so why not remake them?

Because that's a risk. Why bother risking remaking something that wasn't so popular, when you can remake something extremely popular and be guarantee'd a large audience?

wtf the crane is totally undefendable! ;)

Ralph Macchio was also in the classic film Crossroads. Famous only for Ry Cooder playing guitar that is!
