would love to see him at chelsea and playing in the premier league but wow, football money just keeps getting more absurd. stating the obvious, i know but it is pretty hard to get your head around. still, fair play to the guy if it happens - 15 million euros to go to a club with better prospects AND increase your wages.

I wouldn't bet against them, they are a quality side but if it all goes tits up again the Russian is going to look very stupid. Kaka is a superb player but that doesn't not mean he will adapt to English life or football over here. £79 million is a huge gamble on any player, things could get very sticky for the lad if he has a poor start.

not to say this particular transfer isn't an insane amount but the whole LOL BAYIING DA LEEG thing is tiresome.

Yeah tbh after the amount of money other team throw around just to try win stuff this is not that amazing. If Ronaldo is worth 65 mil Kaka is worth 79 imo :)

hope we don't sign him if it costs that much, no player is worth that.

What happened to Roman and Kenyon stating last season that the days of big spending is over and they are concentrating on finding the best youth talent available?

ofc chelsea are trying to buy the league, have been for nearly 3 years.

they approach any player who may be a threat even tho they dont need them, they'd rather sit them on the bench and not play them, and pay out insane wages.

if thats not tryin to buy the league i aint sure what is.

In other news, Hleb has stated that Fabregas could be joining him at Barca.

Helb is a prick unless Cesc throws a complete 180 there is no chance of him joing Barce, this is the same shit Pires and Freddie pulled. And anyway you can't afford him even if he wanted to go :p

No point in buying Kaka. If Ballack keeps his form then he's the best option. Kaka runs the Serie A because it's so slow, he'd not be as good in England and that's been proven when he's come up against English opposition in Europe and had a stinker.

Buy Kaka....? Isn't kaka just a baby word for crap, feces, turds and shit?

Because if they are buying a player who mirrors his name, this story would be funny.

Interesting.
So he's either a cookie, brother, or piece of shit.

I feel a Poll coming.

Cesc today made me proud he is an arsenal player

cesc said:
Following media reports this morning, Cesc Fabregas wanted to put the record straight by making the following statement.

"I have not spoken to any media so it's frustrating to read quotes that I have supposedly said about my future.

"I have spent the summer relaxing with my family, friends and girlfriend and I return to training with Arsenal tomorrow.

"I think that some people are just trying to make mischief but my intentions are very clear. I am happy here at Arsenal, my future is with Arsenal and the priority is to achieve success and win trophies at Arsenal."

Aye Barce and Madrid do not have to tap players up themselves just let thier pet papers do the work for them.

1 good game, he must be a class act, sorry.

Edit - Remember MU had Brown and O'Shea at the back for both of those games.
