This article is about traditional Kabbalah (Jewish mysticism). There is a separate article about the controversial Kabbalah Centre.
Kabbalah (Hebrew: קַבָּלָה, Tiberian: qabːɔˈlɔh, Qabbālāh, Israeli: Kabala) literally means "receiving", in the sense of a "received tradition", and is sometimes transliterated as Cabala, Kabbala, Qabalah, or other permutation. Kabbalah esoterically interprets the Hebrew Bible (Tanakh) and classical Jewish texts (halakha and aggadah) and practices (mitzvot), as expressing a mystical doctrine concerning God's simultaneous immanence and transcendence, an attempted resolution to the ancient paradox of how the ultimate Being—"that which is not conceivable by thinking" (Isaac the Blind)—nevertheless comes to be known and experienced by the created world. Because of the interpretive liberties taken by kabbalistic thinkers, and the possible heresies to which they may easily lead, study of Kabbalah was traditionally restricted to a select few Rabbis and Torah scholars.
Seems its a Jewish thing but i cant get why you have to send them a percentage of your earnings lol, also the rich people must be spending a fortune paying these guys!
They are a cult set up by some guy in America who claims to be a Jewish Rabbi, and its basically about him and his family conning money out of people. For example it costs £15 to by one of their bits of red sting to wear round your wrist. Oh and another thing they do is prey on people's worries, like telling people that they will get better from cancer if they buy a lot of their special water, at £8 a bottle (oh and one of their springs had to be closed down because of a dangerous level of contaminates in it). So it is basically a big con, and don't get me started on people like Madonna and Britney Spears for supporting it.
The actual Kabbalah is a mysitcal Jewish text, and has nothing really to do with the cult.
rofl yeah ashton kutcher is one and wears that red string on his wrist, when he was doing the film guess who he refused to take it off and i cant remember how much it cost them but the film makers had to spend a fortune digitally removing it from each shot... is he worth it? err no lol i'd have said piss off and come back when A) youve lost the attitude and B) you learn to act "dude"
also they have kablaaah water which is supposed to be sacred mineral water thats blessed by a ml99 kabalist (cba to even see how to spell it properly) and "celebs" refuse to drink anything but that.
yeeeeah ok thats going to get you in to heaven guys, oh yeah sure thing, why give all that money to charity when you can drink blessed fake rabbi piss, nice and people say they are brainless!
