My L200 wouldn't start, so towed it to diesel specialist.
'1000 for new pump'
Had local garage look at it
'starts first time..what's up?'
Tried myself...dead
Towed to Mitsu dealer
'We can't talk to ECU, probably burnt out'
Rang local garage..'Did it really start?'
'Yes' he says 'first time'
Sat in bed thinking it through..I gave local garage spare key to look at it in the day.
Went to Mitsu dealer with other spare key..'I'll just try the spare key'
'No point mate the ECU is toast.'
Started first time, my original key RFID had burnt out.
Suddenly garage full of mechanics skulked away..drove it home :)

How big are your feet that you can fit a car on a toe?

Seriously though, well done :D did it cost you to have it towed? My brother had a similar problem with his car today, the central locking wouldn't work, he tried the spare still didn't work. Changed the fuse, still didn't work. Unplugged the battery for 30minutes, plugged it back in. Hey presto!

My ex and Marcus are the only two mixed race people I have seen around here.
Did you see Daybreak? They did a 'changing rooms' job on the a school library for world book day in Liverpool and all the kids piled in to see it, there was one slightly olived skin kid, of course he got to talk.
All he did was go 'wow they've got Blackberry playbooks!
LOL world book day...FAIL!

The hire car I got of Hertz was the dogs, paid 96 quid for a base model and as usual.
'we've only got this one, you can have it for the same price'
11 plate 2.0 turbo Astra Sri..holy fuck, switch of traction control and boot it in first, had to fight the steering wheel, reminded me of my old 1700 Turbo championship MK3 Escort with the first ferguson diffs.
Took two lanes to accelerate.

Well mines a 2005 old shape, so I guess you're looking at the new one.
Minus points is the cab is small compared to the size of the vehicle, mpg is 20 around town and 40 on the motorway, the new one can slide down the back window so you can put long stuff right through.
Done 50,000 miles in it and all that happened is the pulley came loose, which they all do, cost 200 quid to fix.
