... the advert for this game. Have heard people talking about it, but because ive not got a "oh-so-good-pc" for new type games i didnt bother reading/asking about it, because i knew id want it.

So, this advert on TV took me by suprise, and now i want it :/

But i dont want it because i know the performance wont be as good as it should be. So ive started to look for a new Motherboard which will support my XP 2200+ and then i may consider buying it.

Heres my "current" spec (Which will just be the same apart from the Chip/Board)

AMD XP 1800+
1gb 2100ddr Memory
Geforce3 Ti200
<Plus extra gubbins>

Should that be ok to make the game run decent enough?

Plus wheres the best place to buy it (ie cheapest). Ive checked play.com and found it to be at £25 so...

It runs fine on the wife's comp ie full details -
PIV2.53 ghz
768 mb DDR
gf4mx/400 (!)

So I reckon it will run just fine on your set up - maybe not on full details but it will definitely run in non-ugly mode.

Avoid mp_huertgen, tho..........

and both sp and mp work fine for me.

Well... it rocks once you got to play it a couple of times, ie get to know the favorite sniper spots. Nothing brings more joy to my heart than pistol whipping a sniper to death.... aaahh... *goes to play*

Its superb. Much better than say , most of the Russian maps where every thing is on top of everything else.
I generally snipe on Hurtgen (sp?) , but I still move about, you dont have to be stationary
