For the last few days I have been feeling really good about the lack of cheats but already there are people who have got round it. And they are not subtle, I guess because the adminmod won't chuck them they feel they needn't be careful.

I was playing militia, as terrorist, and on the roof. Some CT starts with an AWP. I couldn't see him, but to be sure I withdrew completely out of sight and waited; sure enough he goes on hitting me, wherever I moved.

I knew that the anti cheat software would be hacked but this quick??

BTW there seems to be no longer anyone in #bwadmins but I'm not sure I have the address right. Do I?

as for cheaters 'hacking' the anti cheat, no one hacks it, its just they change the hacks a bit so the anti cheat doesnt see them.

there is no proper solution to stop cheating in any game, but at least this way we have hundreds less cheats to deal with.

Skyler, what you say is true, I know. I do appreciate what BW have done to address the problems of cheating, and I wasn't having a go at them. At the time I posted I was just feeling a bit pissed off, especially as the guy was SOOOO blatant. Of course my own inability to use IRC didn't help

Also I would never, ever, knowingly upset Ch3tan. Who would???

schadenfreude, I didnt for one minute think you were having a go at us. I know what its like to get shot from nowhere by a childish cheater. Its a right pain and spoils ya game. I was just simply trying to say what to do if it happened again, so you wont have to suffer as much.


as for my mentioning of ch3t that was nothing to do with anyone but me, was just a joke

only i or ch3t would understand it i guess, but he might not find it so funny
