Just me with unregistered hits?

recently finding BW a bit like jolt was on 1.3 half (at least) the bullets i'm firing dont seem to register with server. ie put 10 bullets at a guy he kills me (fair one) but to find out he was still on 100hp is more than a tad annoying, anyone else having this prob since 1.4 i missing a config tweak? :/

could it be that you are[/b actually missing? i heard about this "Cold Barrel Syndrome" where most of your Shots dont hit the Target.

but seriously, i've had it a couple of times when im positive i hit a guy at least once and it didnt register, i put it down to the tiny bit of loss i get on most servers (1/2 loss constant)

but when i have to shoot a guy 6 times in the face/chest with a scout to kill him there's something not right somewhere. (probably my aim)

Indeed you should check your choke/loss situation via net_graph 3 in-game. Personally any more than 1 loss will have me disconnecting from the server
Same with choke, if your getting high choke figures you have to accept the fact that some of your bullets are going to go astray im afraid, just a fact of life

/edit me Id call 20 a high choke figure, but if your with a modem you might not think that too bad. If you have a high choke try lowering your rate.

Ive had similar, though it seems to be intermittent. Basically I can play one time and register hits (if my aim is good enough) but on other occassions I can't blatently hit the side of a bus, where as the other guy can. Ive tried reconnecting but that has little effect on the same server, but if I change server then the problem goes away.

Note for the inevitable flames : This is a noticable thing, i.e. its not down to my perceptions or the skillz on offer (I know when Im being panned by a better guy). Its very pronounced but not all the time on all servers.

Once you got those figures go find Adz in irc. He'll set you up good and proper. Did you know the freak actually manually configures his config IN game every minute pretty much to get the best of his connection

i have my net graph on as default alot of the time i am choking in fire-fights but not all the time, but most the time playin on BW its like i and every1 else is playin with 100 choke, its like jolt used to b in the clienttrace 1 or 3.5 days. long as u keep moving its hard to die, like i can run through a wall of m4 bullets and come out otherside with 100 hp, just i cant hit the firer either lol thats an extreme case but it has happened a few times, more than slightly annoying :/

CS is very very random, forget cold bullets and all that, its random as a base, then you add cold bullet bollocks, and connectivity issues, other peoples config h4x, lag, etc...

You end up with very dodgy bullets

ye true but it has gone insanely diff on BW since 1.4, and some of this is close quarter stuff, randomness dont account for this lol

Personally I think 1.4 is by far the easiest and most true to life version of cs ive played so far

CS guard does give the gay hit problem... heard quite a few moan about rubber bullets with it
