i've only played T2 about 3 times on the demo (getting full version tommorow and i was on a pubby but ffs.

9 times in a row, count em, 9!!!!!!!! people got a bomber, got in and flew off without a bombadier or tailgunner. dont they notice the pointlessness of that, surely after the first (short lived) run you're gonna notice. and then when i asked them what the fuck they thought they were doing they KICKED ME!!!!!!!!!!! JESUS!!!!!
half of em no doubt didnt know why they were voting to have me kicked.

point is ne clans out there wanna give a nooest of noobs (to tribes2 at least) a chance iin a clan. i may not have experience, but at least i'm not a dumb fuck

Actually sometimes i prefer they do that, theres only a limited amount of shrikes a team can have at anyone time, so if theyre using bombers for base to base transport then fair enough, the bomber on pubbies is rarely used effectively anyway and it leaves more shrikes for me and everyone else.

lol. well i never use them so he needn't worry about me, does anyone know if you need a receipt to get a replacement T2 CD in the U.K. my mate sold me his copy and it was scratched to fuck so he wants a replacement so he can sell me it again. I neeeeed the full version but cash is too low to shell out for a new one.

Ok, lemme get this straight,.. your mate SOLD you the CD, and when you bust the CD he demands a replacement, even though you bought it off him so its was yours?!

On top of that he wants you to go to the effort of getting the replacement sent back to him, so he can sell it back to you? Thats like a Thief stealing something from you then offering to sell you it back, but instead of him going to the trouble of stealing it you handed it over to him freely.

Either ya missed something in your post or your a bit dim . If you can get a replacement for the CD then just get it sent to you and not your friend, he should effectively be out of the picture now youve bought it off him.

On a more constructive note, i believe there is a "no CD" crack out there somewere that allows you to play T2 without the CD so you just need the the program installed on your machine and a T2 account user name and password.

Heh, i dont mind there being no shrikes left. I do get pissed when FC's escaping and person in front of me buys a havoc.

Worse is a new trend were people tend to stand on top of someone head instead of waiting in line which usually ends up slowing down the queue. The person on the vpad cant hop to refresh the screen and cant move off the vpad without the person on top stealing his place. Usually on top of that the person that jumps on top of the guys head is usually doing so in order to skip the queue.

alright here what happend in simple terms for those that were'nt listening carefully first time *cough* stabs *cough*

1. My mate no longer wants tribes 2, he sells it to me

2.A different person who borrowed it off him scratched it to hell and my mate hadnt checked that it worked before selling it to me.

3. He gave me my money back

4. he wants a replacement cd (about 6 quid) so that he can sell it to me for 10 quid again. I dont think you can geta replacement cd in britain without a receipt so i am not bothering to do it myself

By the way stabs, thanks for the advice about the crack but the cd is no knackered it wont even install

I think you only need the receipt if your trying to return it within the first 90 days, as you can get it for free then. After that i think you just need to send the defective cd and the handling fee costs along with your details to sierra, not sure though try contacting Sierra UK branch:
