they did last night in thid, 30+ mids inside the ck defending till maybe 7, 9 necro's turned up, they attacked the ppl who where on the walls firing down, ok fair enough.
But when people jumped back down into the ck they where still gettin hit by nukes, some even ran to the Lord and still gettin nuked. It was like we had no keep walls at all, in the end albs had 1fg of necro's putting there pets on stay, walking upto the wall, press F8, click nuke, done.
They did this for about 30 mins killing near enough every single mid in the ck, this bug has to be fixed, I cant belive how badly albion exploited this bug last night. It was so bad 42 dropped down to 21 in 20 mins due to ppl logging or leaving thid coz of all this BS.
Most of the mids where complaining more then me about this, why ? They cant F8 me if im stealthed. I thought a post about this would already be ere but it looks like everyone is to afriad to get flamed.

Shame on you albion, Midgard looks down at you. :mad:

This is something we've had to put up with from chanter pets for a year now... don't worry, soon LoS issues will be solved (finally)

I'm just waiting for them to get rid of the pets following stealthers who are stealthed

The most common bug exploit is to use geometry holes in order to position your character in an unreachable place, giving the exploiter the freedom to kill any players coming around, with little to no risk, since the victims cannot attack back, unless they themselves exploit the bug. This can be using roofs, bridge holes, etc. All players abusing such bugs are bug exploiters and can be punished. This rule also applies to pets.

Now, let's look at the recent discussions. The problem comes from the line of sight (LOS) of pets. In the current version pets can attack from range through solid objects. Players using pets normally, in a keep defence for example, and sending the pets through the doors are just playing their class normally, nothing wrong with that. Maybe it is not really fair play, but the issue will be fixed in a coming patch and there is no "bug" exploit in this case.

The good news is that the LOS problem will be partially fixed in a coming patch, which will solve.

just a pity that some people have decided to use this bug to the full :(

sorry but hibs have done it for scenturies now .... fact is : there will be always someone that isn't happy with the chars of the other realms ..........

I have the solution :
let mythic delete all classes and make one class : healer/cleric with only the heal and buff lines :p so we can have boring hammer vs hammer fights :p

that LoS problem will be fixed next patch, so get something new to whine about, i'm back to exploit the "bug" as you want to call it

hibs have done it since forever, they still do it, and will still do it after necros get stopped from it (the chanter "los fix" changed basicly nothing according to american chums - yet necros now lose pow and the spell wont cast if there is so much as an abnormally large piece of dust floating in the air between them and their target.)

hehe sorry repent but i have to confess i did enjoy targeting and nuking you and all the other mids IN keep :)

and although yes i believe it to be lame(fun) i would do it again, and again, and again.. and why? only 1 reason chanters...

O well never mind..

This was a nerf which stealthers should put up with.
Back in the day when stealthers owned all, they needed to be nerfed in any way possible.

Repent cry me a damn river! For 1 F8 dosent target people in keeps out of sight "I know i tryed several times :p "

Every target I killed in keep came to close to the walls, and stuck there pointy little nose out, result was i manualy clicked on there name and told pet to blow the crap out of them!!!

As soon as us necros tell pet to nuke, it charges us the mana regardless of if target moves out of range. As for the "even lord room wasnt safe" ROFL I nuked several smart Mids who had the sence to run out of range before I got the fatal nuke in, basicaly only the stuborn or stupid players got killed rest moved rather than die.

Also this isnt an exploit, we can be targeted and killed, you just need to work together.

Many regards to the Mids who gave me a good fight, especialy the Rm's who droped GTAE to force us away from wall :)


off now to dye my shirt red to cover up how much my heart bleeds for poor Repent....

u must be mistaken, I was only nuked twice by a necro but I died to a DoT.

anyway, I know this bug has been around for a while but this is the first time I've seen it abused so badly, cant wait for this new LoS patch :D

Yes it is, it's an LOS bug exploit. The fact is that you wouldn't had a chance taking that keep last night if it wasn't for 5-6 necros who kept killing peeps through walls. The fact that chanter pets can do it as well doesn't make it any more "ok". It's lame and it's pathetic no matter how you try to justify it.

i dont care if its working as intended, the current necro LoS "exploit" as you would have it is "working as intended"

if they're gonna remove that, they should bloody well get rid of pet following stealthers exploit too.. especially with mids BD's... its crazy... chanter pets u can at least fool (running into / xbow bolts sometimes works) into coming close so u can beat them up :)

you kill people by mistake ? Maybe u did kill me, but I was DoT'd @ the time too, how about tryin to nail me while im not DoT'd and not trapped in a box (ck) while u abuse a bug. u necro's r jokes on ur own @ L24.

btw.. pfftt.... how DARE you say we can't get lower! ofc we can!

we are disadvantaged in most ways other than numbers, so we strike as many low blows as possible to try and make up for it :)

I remember taking down 1.5 savages (other had a dot on him I believe) when i was lvl 24. Can't remember there names but another friar was behind me watching it all.
