Wazz. They're US Military helicopters. They're flying to the most dangerous island in the world*. Why did they not have big fkin guns on the choppers?!?

What about the 230lb of beefy marine sitting in them? I sure as hell saw guns in their hands when they landed on the island. Plus there was the ships out at sea, they could have used anti aircraft missles on the bastards, they're big enough for targets.

I was working on the assuption, Stu that it was those kind of helicopters that are used to carrying people - the big fuck off ones with two huge blades... not combat helicopters which will obviously carry heavy weaponry.

Fair play The Blackhawk, tho, is a transport helicopter, and it looks like this:

All the original Hueys etc always had miniguns mounted in the "doorway" for a very good reason - helis are often used for 'hot' infiltrations/exfiltrations, and it's always useful if you can strafe the locals with a few thousand rounds to stop them from getting any clever ideas
