jpg saving problem

My PC has stopped saving jpgs.

I do quite a lot of photography and using PhotoShop in general but for soem reason my PC has stopped saving JPEGs.

If I try, either in Save As or Save For Web PS simply freezes. I never get an error message, just a single frozen program. If I look in Task Manager it shows 2 instances of PS running, both Not Responding.

I thought it may simply be a problem with PS so I tried using a Nikon program I have with exactly the same result.

Could it be a problem with the JPEG codec (if there is such a thing)?

Any other ideas?

possibly an IE problem? Try clearing out your temporary files cache, and also disabling things like thumbnails, etc.

Yep clear normal temp and temp internet files, job done
