Anyone been to see this in London theater?

The one with the winner from 'Any dream will do' - Lee something.

Is it worth the money?

I'm thinking of booking it as a surprise 18th thingy for the missus.

I saw it years and years ago with an old girlfriend. I hated it. Far too camp and happy happy joy joy for my liking.

Go and see it. Take the missus. Who cares if you like it or not. She'll like it, which means a guaranteed bunk-up after !

Lamp is spot on, it is very very squeeky clean (think High School Musical)
I was bored shitless but the missus and her mates loved it

Well as long as it keeps me in the missus' good books.

And a bunk up sure sounds enticing! ;d

Think I saw some parts of it on tele once.
Wouldn't go see it myself tho if i can go to sleep for free at home. Only time I was interested in it was when they had Jason Donovan but that is ages ago. (damn I feel old now)

Can't you lie and pretend it was good so I have an easier choice to make? :p

If Tilda likes it - then it must be good surely. A mod can't be wrong?!

The missus has seen it and she really enjoyed it - tbh mate you can rarely go wrong with a theatre ticket as a prezzie for the missus, she'll love you.

Just make sure it's not 28th July - 5th August, or 3rd - 11th of November. That Lee bloke is on holiday during those times. :)

Well he's only doing it so he can get some 'grateful' girl action - doesn't come any more hetero than that :)

I go to the theatre all the time and this is one of my most hated shows... I recommend you see: Blood Brothers, Lion King ETC if taking your girlfriend.

Yeah tbh that really is good, excellent costumes, the way they've done the hyenas is in particular very clever.

I like musicals. But Joseph is shit.

QFT. Some of the songs are good, but the show is gay. Also, the story, considering it's a biblical one (great fantasy etc etc), is crap.

I went ahead and booked them anyway :)

2 front row tickets and transport etc. is all sorted.

You do NOT want to know how much this cost me - my poor poor bank balance - but the missus will be ecstatic I know :)

Thanks for the help all.

Front row seats, about £70-100 quid each?

Front row sucks btw! you can't see half the stage xD!

Make sure you make it in to a proper night out btw, got to dress all smart and stuff!

If your 18 make sure you go some cocktail bar before aswell :p

winner: girls like to dress up and feel special.

Worse ever mistake of my life! Organised to go out on a "date" with the ex awhile ago, just for some food and some drinks. I had visions of it being a fairly social affair, nice dinner few pints / wine down the local bar.

She had visions of it being some magical candle lit dinner with me wearing some kind of suit / shirt arrangement and her some lovely dress and shoes that she was going to go out and buy on the weekend..

me = dog house :(
