Doesnt matter if the pet takes a bit of xp if you are chaining reds and oranges, or doing 7-8 mobs at a time with scorcher pet.

And I got mine to 50 quick enough with buffbot, didn't need pling.

And dunno about you but never seen a necro Debuff AF to any mob tbh.

They need a good slapping, then. At the point that a large mob is no longer resisting spells much, the lot AF debuff makes a huge difference.

we werent discussing this Therga. I already considered these facts as obvious for Psyco ( since he knows so much about necros ).
We were discussing the necro specs, in wich he affirms that a sight neccy with the debuff AF is important when you are lifetaping mobs.
And he also was affirming that the last pbaoe of necro is more important then having a ABS buff or a strg/con debuff

ah, you was talking about a sight necro, shit... couldn't care less about what you have to say about them, you only every use LT and PT...

and yes it is, if you could get my some p's to respec i would show you

So much nonsense written in this thread:

First the easy one: ML5 is NOT the cap at level 40, i've had ML9 level 41 chars before.. ML5 is the cap if you want to go to the BG's which are next to dead anyway.

Now cabby specs:

47 spirit, rest matter is a TERRIBLE spec.. I don't care if you have a 50% body debuff, with 1 body the variance on your nukes will be dire and you've failed to get aoe disease. If your going 47 spirit, go at most 11 matter to get the first nearsight then dump everything else in body (24). The tri-spec spec mentioned is very nice for group play tho.

Necro specs:

50 sight, 20 servant.. ok if you want the AF debuff (if your rvr'ing with tanks alot)

48 sight, 24 servant.. still keeps the top life/power taps but gets you the 24 damage shield which is easily enough to do most arti encounters, just more slowly. Good for chaining through single redcons.

45 servant, 29 sight.. The best farming the big stuff spec, gets you the top damage shield and the first absorb. The PBAOE is useless against big stuff, don't even waste power trying it.

48 servant, 24 sight.. PL'ing spec, top PBAOE for chaining silly numbers of yellows fast. Still able to do big stuff easily but not quite as good as the above spec.

ML9 matter cabbies can clear both the taskers and duelists camps at the same time. Or pull the POC rooms in one go without warguard, then get another 2 pulls from the corridors (about 3 corridors per pull) per 10 mins.
Necro's have the advantage of DI, cabbies have the advantage that the pet will put out more damage before it needs healing.. at low RR's where your cleric doesn't have access to DI2+ the cabby wins hands down. Once you can get DI3 then the necro is probably slightly on top.

If your killing 20 red/purps at a time then any exp the pet is taking is fairly insignificent. :drink:

Farmed taur phalux for Mad2 with matter cabby and with servant necro + di2, and matter cabby was much easier. Di2 would be stripped in about 10 seconds, and the required healing on the pet would cause the mobs to aggro the cleric. With matter cabby it was never a problem.

So to conclude, a sorceror with bb who gets to 40 (not a problem at all), then gets ML9 should find 41-50 a joke.

Well everyone is entitled to a opinion...i dont care what you say i like 50% body debuff too much and im not gonna sacrifice it for aoe disease. ill use emerald simu for that

The point is you shouldn't sacrifice the 50% debuff if you want it. But without putting any points in body your debuffing a nuke that's pathetic.

The tri-spec cabby will probably nuke as hard if not harder than you without even bothering to debuff the target with that spec making it completely worthless.

47 spirit, 11 matter, 24 body gives you the 50% debuff and a nuke that will actually do something to follow it up with. Better nearsight is nice, but it's not worth giving up all your damage and losing aoe disease for. In most cases 25% or 45% nearsight is actually the same, you either get it cured or your not in range to cast.
