Ok, i tried searching high and low on forums, with no luck.

What do i have to do or what gods should i pray to to get into the fressyshouse irc channel?

Where is it? And why do i get "Cannot join channel, you must be authed to join (+r)" on quakenet. org?

Any help apprecialaited.

If that doesn't work you need to auth with Q by typing /msg Q hello - and then following the instructions. I think they made it so you need to be authed to stop bots etc joining and spamming.

It's sort of irrelevant for me, I appear to have been g-lined for something I did when I was asleep last night. And I've now rebooted so can't look back in the cache to see if my connection was fucking around but I suspect that's what it was.

When i try to join FH irc it comes up with the message; #freddyshouse unable to join channel (address is banned). I find this very strange as i've never been to #freddyshouse.

aye, theres a server wide ban on t-dialin. because of some german tossers or something, i dunno

There is a channel ban on any t-dialin hosts, a lot of bots/wankers/cs kiddies (mis)use t-dialin and are generally annoying.

Its simple t-dialin = loads of dynamic hosts hard to ban, and bugger all people worthwhile on t-dialin in FH in general. Register with Q and auth if you cant get in because of +R (+r whichever). Being registered meaning you can ban that account, rather than an IP which can be changed very easily. If you are on T-Dialin and ure not a total twit with a friend or two, i suggest using a bouncer from someone if they like you enoug, a friend would probably point you in the direction of someone who could help you with that, to avoid the t-dialin thing.
