John Peel was the best DJ on Radio 1, and probably did the best radio show in the country.

He will be sadly missed.

Its just a lovely example of what it is to be British. The strange customs and sayings that families adopt, the tragedies, etc. I hope the Beeb make them all downloadable, would be great to put them on an mp3 player and listen in the car.
