I have no qualifications to do anything, so you can rule out any of the specialist stuff. I'd quite fancy doing something like a courier job, but I'm not sure if you need to have a licence for so many years or what...

OK well the best thing to do is find a little more about the job itself... you referring to a UPS/Fed-EX or bike courier type job here??

Maybe contact some of the companies who hire couriers and ask them for some advice.

Shout if you need anymore help :)

They mainly do IT jobs, but they have expanded to include other areas so www.jobserve.com might be worth a look for you.

But the best thing to do is probably look at a couple of websites and find some agency names that have positions in the areas you're interested in, and then contact that agency. I've had much better results in the past by doing that, than trying to find a job by myself.

Something more local than UPS/Fedex type stuff, but along those lines. There are a few companies based near here who do that sort of thing, so I'll look into it.

I assume you don't mean bike (bicycle) courier, mank. If you do, I can tell you all about it. :)

The fitness comes with the job. Though the pay is pretty crap until you get fit.

A friend just got a driving job delivering rental cars. He's 20 and passed his test in February, so it can be done...

Pick up some local papers, should be a few adds in there ;)

I work for a car parts firm, our delivery drivers have to be 21 and have held a license for three years to drive the vans. You have to be 25 to drive the company cars. This gets the company a whacking great discount on it's insurance premiums, and a nice low excess of £500 on any claims., Yes £500. Also..... If the accident you have is found to be your fault, and you were being an idiot, guess who pays the excess.. Certainly seems to concentrate the minds of our lads and lasses.
