Unlucky clowneh!

I wasn't yet up at 7.30, so I missed wishing you luck.

Anyway, there are other supermarkets, there are other jobs. It's their loss m8. :D

[rant]

Wait-fecking-who? Who are they? Bollox to em! Safeway is much better, try them - at least the staff at my local Safeways look happy & will smile on occasion. I had a m8 at uni who worked at Tescos part-time & he was OK with it, particularly the amount of totty working there!

:bore:

[/rant]

hehe

Anyways, chin up m8!

You're all welcome to shine my shoes.

I'm doing great on the checkouts at Tesco. I started work at 2 today, but didn't get round to sitting at a till and serving people until 8.

Phone them up Monday morning, and ask why you didn't get the job. Then ask them if they will consider you for any more jobs in future.

Shows you're keen. Or something. Not that I've ever had a full time job anyway :/

Well, I had an interview today with my career adviser.

He stuck me on some compulsary 26 week training thing - summat about CISCO Internet Network Administration and Microsoft CBT Packages. And I heard summat about NVQ Level 2.

I'm confused, but I'll just turn up to their assesment thing on Friday. Something to do with finding out how much i know so whey know where to start me on this course, run by Peabody Trust if anybody has heard of them?

Ah well, at least I have something to do this next 6 months, eh?

The Cisco stuff will be dead handy ... I think networking bods are still in short supply ... well, they are at my work, where the team we've got seem to be constantly on the go with one thing or another.

Good luck!

Aye grats Clowneh... and yes, if you can get to grips with the cicso stuff there ought to be good opportunities out there for you. We spent several 1000's of quid getting cicso training for one of our ops guys and the skills are very desirable.... now we have to pay him several 1000s of quid more or he can stroll into jobs elsewhere :p
