Depends how Jinny is specced.

I'd be laughing if you (overpowered Inf) COULDN'T kill a bow specced ranger (underpowered) buffed or unbuffed. Not much of an achievment for an assassin to kill an archer tbh. If she's melee spec then yeah you did well if she was buffbotted, if she was only selfbuffed then again, you've acheived fuck all tbh.

Now if she was a buffed NS then maybe you'd have an excuse.

and yes, Rangers have self buffs, they have:
- Damage add
- Dex/Qui buff
- Strength buff
- AF buff
- Speed shout

Note that all the stat buffs are worse than 30 nurture spec druid buffs even with 50 pathfinding which I don't think any ranger on earth specs too so they're really not all that. I think a buffbotted ranger drops 6 buffs (remember also to watch for procs and shite adding extra buff spam) and an unbuffed 3 buffs although I could be wrong.

I had a sortof hybridspecc with my ranger and very very seldom lost fights one on one with him, except when silly Vuk came and 2-3shotted me, sure shields are good, but not too good vs dualvielders that hit with capped attackspeed

well when i was playing hunter pretty much anything without a shield died (as i remember) was the once that was able to engage that was a paine. but.. much has happend since then (ra's etc and other things)

I very rarely lose to sheild pallys/armsman, it's usually only if they IP and I don't have it up, or have specced out of it in a moment or boredom or something, what really screws me over is large crush weilding types
