naw, its those blasted vikings fs, been leeting off gas now for over a week near me t00 fs, Guy fawks night : a single evening devoted to setting off rockets, and yet plebs continue to fire them before then, :upyours: so bloody annoying aaarg, dont see anyone going trick or treating 2-8 nights before halloween now do ya fs:eek:

i live in an area with a lot of asian ppl who celebrate divali or summat at much the same time,
as far as i can see this appears to involve setting of a lot of fireworks too !

wouldn't it make more sense to have your 'fireworks party' on the saturday, as opposed to the fifth which is a monday? would to me. anyway, my neighbours have an annual 'show' of boring as hell rockets which goes on for an hour and scares the bejesus out of my cat. technically, you could sue them for not giving you warning, iirc.

hhmm..ive still got wipeout 3 on my ps...and its next to my bed...makes me wanna play on my ps all of a sudden :)

as for teh fireworks..idiots.
i dont like these 'celebration' ideas. i ignored all the knocks on the door i got on halloween, cant stand em. and all these noisy gunpowder things...
just bog off, ifyou want to hear loud noises and see flashy colours then go stand by some traffic lights in a poor area (the old cars that backfire provide the loud noises).

One of my clients is the major importer of the buggers.
Still he gave me £250 worth free !!
A total of 9 fireworks for £250 - errr they are large - the biggest is a box bigger than my tower and at £70 each cost more than my tower too:)
Hold on to your pantyhose tonight if you live near Nottm.

the dutch are allowed to light fireworks exactly once per year, on new years night. they start about 3 weeks in advance :/
