Jaws is one of my all time favourite films. I love it.

It's the reason I STILL don't like swimming in the sea. I hate going above my knees!!! (don't laugh!!)

I have Jaws 1 and 2 on DVD. Jaws 3 is okay and Jaws 4 is just pants.

Don't miss it on telly!

I remember seeing Jaws 3 in a cinema, with a nice girlie too, it was 3d and you had the wear those silly red and green glasses, quite beneficial for impressing the girlie because it gave me the appearance of having more than one dimension.

Yeah well I wear glasses and the 3d glasses kept falling off. The liberal use of spear guns was funny though. Every 5 mins one would shoot out of the screen. Wasnt Jaws 3 the first film to let you see in the mouth as it chewed away?

Jaws was a classic, little Richard Dreyfuss is top.. never been so scared in my young life as when my dad took me to see it at the flicks. We both jumped out of our skins when that guys head fell out of the hole in the boat.. :eek6:

The follow ups werent nearly as good though.

Now I'm older I feel sad over the direct and negative effect that those films had on sharks.

JAWS was the only good imo, the sequels just didn't live up to the originals reputation :(

I still like that modern film about sharks though, what was it, deep blue?

Anyways, they had man-brains :D

Deep Blue Sea, which has got to be the film with the biggest amount of plot errors, like when she stands on her wetsuit for insulation against the electrics, yes it's wet as well !

I jump at that bit everytime I see it, even though I've seen it over 5 times.

"Sharks have swum probably within 15 feet of every one of us if we've ever been in the water, but most of the time sharks don't want any part of us because humans are not a normal part of their diet."

Maybe for the US, but not for the UK.

The only real sharks around our sea's are Blue sharks. There's a few others down by Cornwall like Porbeagles (look like mini great whites. heh.) and once or twice a Great White has been seen by fishing boats.

If you're into that sort of things, pop along to www.sharkattacks.com . He's got some pretty gruesome pictures in the victims gallery and some humerous ones too!
