Was going to say that Blade Runner makes this a none contest. Titanic also is a good enough reason to vote for Ridley Scott. Same reasoning as Huntingtons.

why ? He's not a classical old-boy network type director, but he's made really popular clever movies that people love

Then he made revolver and destroyed all that he is a dud the level of bad in that film took from him the good of lock stock and snatch :)

Layer Cake ? No
The Business ? Definitely not
Football Factory ? Fun
Green Street ? Not bad, but Football Factory was better
Transporter ? Nothing amazing

Get Carter: Superb !
