Jacina's Sash FFA, Saturdays (part II)

I am making a small change to when I run the Jacinas Sash raids to now make them coincide with Flundra's Erinys Raids so Jacinas will now be run on the same days as Erinys but will happen AFTER Erinys.

This means there will be NO MORE FFA Jacinas on Monday nights.

TIMES AND DATES:

The following times are approximate but if Erinys is delayed I will also delay the Jacinas raids so everyone who is on Erinys will also be able to come to the Jacinas ones too

TUESDAY's = Aerus 7pm gmt (8pm cet)
SATURDAY's = Aerus 2pm gmt (3pm cet)

RULES:

All level 50 characters that participate in the raid will get a +3 modifier for the lotto, the modifier applies to the raid after the one you participate in, so if you for example have a 12 modifier and participate in a raid you get +12 to your roll for the Sash or named drops on that raid and +15 next time you come to the raid.

The modifier list will be compiled based on attendance when the mob dies - if you LD during the fight you will get credited with a mod, however we will wait no more than 3 minutes after the fight for LDs before doing the lotto.

Buffbots do not get a roll on anything and do not count towards modifier values. Anyone rolling for more than 1 actively played character will be named, shamed and publicly humiliated.

Sash Artifact will go to the person rolling highest WITH MODIFIER on a /random 100.

You need to be level 50 to roll for any loot.

If you are not level 50 you get no modifier credit.

Winning a sash or using your mod and winning another item drops your mod to zero.

If you use your mod to force a reroll with someone else and lose the reroll you KEEP your mod.

You may use your current mod (before current raid) to add to your roll if you wish to have any of the other drops apart from the Sash. Other drops include items from Balasi and Cyrek and usually include a lgm component, lots of mp rog armour, 99% and below rog armour and weapons and one or more of the following named drops:

Bracer of Snow
Arcanium Buffeting Buckler
Duskwood Cyclone Bearded Bow
Ring of the Cyclone
Ring of the Heavens

Bust

Tuesday's well-publicised and public raid for Jacina's sash collapsed because the boss-mob did not appear. Probably this was because some group had chosen to farm it a short time before. This means that 8 or so players quite deliberately sabotaged Bluesky's efforts on the behalf of the 50-odd that turned up.
Checking the Market Explorer, the only new Jacina's that appears is for house 2146. This belongs to Sauug (Hansi, Brawler, Xigma). All I ask is : has Sauug or any of his alts won the sash on a Bluesky raid? If not, I wonder where he got it?
Note that I make no accusations - all the evidence is not yet in.
Bluesky described such a selfish action as 'incredibly sad'. Most of us would use a rather more forecful description...

Has it struck anyone that it might be players totally unaware of the Jacina's raid schedule? Or even done with a presumed good margin to the raid but the bugger refused to repop in time?

ofc hence me asking who it was so I could talk to them - anyone who knows me knows im very rarely go nuts and accuse ppl of anything before getting all the facts.

Ruining public raids has happened in the past on purpose and hopefully this hasn't happened on my raid and wont happen anymore.

If someone did farm it over 8 hours before a public raid then i have no problem with that but again I would request politely that ppl dont raid a mob on a known public raid day.

All I ask is curtesy towards fellow players

ok Good news and Better news

The person responsible has spoke to me and told me he was unaware of the public farm raids and has promised that he/they wont farm it within 24 hours of my public raids so the problem should not come up again

and the better news is that the guy I spoke to has given me a Sash which i will lotto on saturdays raid making 2 for saturdays lotto

I think its fair to say the matter is now closed

Sadly yet again someone has deliberately farmed cyrek before we got there ruining the raid again

Thankfully we did a little roaming and got a Braggarts Bow and Guard of Valour arti's and I had a Sash donated from the guy who farmed it last time so it wasn't too bad in the end. The guy who farmed it last time will stay anonymous as i spoke to him and he promosed me it was over 24 hours since he last did the encounter so atm it seems ppl simply dont care about their realm mates

Tbh this is getting beyond a joke now what is the problem with people in this realm?? - All I ask is a little curtesy toward your fellow realm mates to allow a public raid to go ahead. There are 5 other days when i have no problem with ppl doing whatever they want to Cyrek - jsut stop farming it 24 hours before a public raid plz.

On a side not i dont even need a sash so its not for my personal gain - I won mine last week but am carrying on the raids so other ppl can get one too.

If anyone does know who farmed this to ruin it again plz get in contact with me so i can try and convince them not to farm it within 24 hours of my public raids. If you do have information pm me here on FH or in game on any chars in my sig.

Problem is, that it's not illigal to do it. It is very poor sport though, and no wonder the responsibly doesn't want to stand forth and admit guilt. It's a quick way to become unwanted in the realm.

This act of doing Jacina's Sash on a public raid day is in fact against the rules in the RoC, in fact, they've added and adapted that rule to include people who 'steal' encounters from campers...

I'm not one who likes to have police agents checking up on gameplayers, but this single person, or small group of persons, is ruining a well know public raid, and what's the use of having RoC if they don't get enforced

Yes I aggre that this is group/person has made my gaming experience less fun due to encounter down, and I feel that theres no respect shown towards fellow players. With this statement it's official that who ever did farm this has broken the RoC, atleast the once that did it the second time. I'v not yet reported this to GOA as a violation against RoC, but if peps keep doing thing like this thers not mutch to do but to report it.

Respect goes to who ever it was on the first time for giving up the Sash :worthy:

ok I checked my chat.log and saw that you rolled on the drops but didnt mention your name on the roll call.

I've added you to the mod list on my spreadsheet now and will post the update after saturdays raid. In future plz make sure you state your name when i ask for the roll call
