I've always loved shonen knife, wish I'd gotten to see them live.
The japanese music scene is a very odd one, especially the whole visual scene and all the psychotic fans.
I'm getting a few insights into it at the moment as a good friend of mine moved to japan last year and is now in a band with someone famous in the j-rock scene although I have no idea who he is and she only refers to him in coded form incase any of the psychotic teenage girl fans hunt her down and kill her or something.
