Itunes won't play my songs :p

Hope this is the right forum.

Whenever I double click a song, I do get the speaker in the left column, but it doesen't have the "playing" effect. I've tried to press space, I've tried to press the "Play" button, I've tried going into "controls>play" and I've tried googling it. Can't figure out what the problem is, bet it's something obvious

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm going to ask the obvious - have you checked the soundcard stuff, like volume, mute, drivers, etc. Does the song play fine in WMP ?
