Look on your Itunes top 25 most played - what's numbers 1 to 5?
Or alternatively, pick 5 of your top at-the-minute tunes including some less well-known bands perhaps...
...and say something good about the tunes if you're musically minded!
1. Avenged Sevenfold - Remenissions - The buildup from about 1:25min into and including the Acoustic "a friend once told me" section.
2. The Killers - Mr Brightside - Gorgeous chord progressions especially in the chorus.
3. The Mars Volta - Televators - Fucking beautiful lyrics, perfectly mastered and superb accompaniment. Listen out for "hobbles sway".
4. Coheed and Cambria - Delirium Trigger - Brilliant stereo special effects - song is in 3/4 time, addictive drumming and vocal sound.
5. Foo Fighters - My Hero - As always, brilliantly unique sound, and unique split/beat timing - great lyrics and progression.
Not all new songs, but those are the top 5 I'm not getting bored of
