Well, we just got power back. Had electricity men digging up our driveway for 2 hours till they decided they couldn't fix it and instead put us some kinda thing from next door's supply on a long cable through the letterbox. Yay.

i didnt mean did the generator make noise . Meant where the cable comes from makes that noise , but as its from the neighbours it doesnt . But if the power gets to your neighbours and the power in your house is fine there must be some cable broke between your neighbours and you .
