...that whenever you look outside and think "great, I think I'll go for a ride on my bicycle!", the instant you're dressed and ready, it'll start pissing down.

This happened yesterday and I just rode through it, thinking "fuck it". Today however the wind suddenly got up to about a million mph, with sideways rain. So I'm sat here in my sweaties, pissed off that I'm not out on't'bike.

Roll on summertime, roll on lovely hot days with 30 mile rides and ice cream. :(

You could allways just jump on your bike and adopt the attitude of "I can only get so wet"


Its a pain in the arse to start with but once you get going it can be great fun riding thru big puddles.

Yeah but I did that yesterday :) Today I wanted a drier ride :)

I'm very much of the "just ride anyway" school. Though I missed the rain today, the strong winds were a laugh. Overtaking cars when they are doing 30mph is even more fun than overtaking them when they are sitting still.

I was out today on the bike 22 miles, was sunny for most then on the way back the heavens opened and the wind kicked in, was rather fun actually. Wasn't fun cleaning the bike though.

I just don't clean my bike. The joy of singlespeeds and fixies. :)

Pah I just grab meh car keys if I have to travel more than 3 yards outside my house - weather gets pwned by teh car.
