I know I'm off work, but a quicky joke for TdC...
: Golf lessons
A foursome is waiting at the men's tee while another foursome of
ladies are hitting from the ladies tee. The ladies are taking their
time and when finally the last one is ready to hit the ball. She hacks it
about 10 feet, goes over to it and hacks it another 10 feet.
She looks up at the men, who are watching, and says apologetically: "I guess all those fucking lessons I took last winter didn't help."
One of the men immediately replies, "Now, you see, that's your
problem. You should have taken golf lessons instead."

I had a really great BD and ended up sipping whiskey and listening to great tunes with some mates.
To add a little insight into some drunken fun:
I almost bought a TVR Griffin [4.3liter, 320BHp etc. etc.
Was quite a laugh tho. I'm looking for a car you see, as the lovely trains here suck goat balls. A TVR isn't exactly what I'm out to get however, prolly some turbodiesel or other
Anyhoo, a mate said he knew of this great second-hand roadster, first owner lots of extras blablabla bags of fun to drive. Me, knowing nothing of cars...quite drunk...cheered on by my audience, call up the guy. Anyway he didn't go for it, probably as I was laughing so hard I couldn't make out what he was saying half the time. He did wish me a HBD tho

My bothdi is on the 13th March, same day as my partner goes in for a planned section for our second child.
Now THATS a birday pressy.
(plus it means I get 4 days of peace an quiet at home whilst she's in hospital )
