Friend of mine bought one of those mostly for the dual sim capability. An oddly capable phone really but it doesn't feel worth a penny more than the price paid

Wow, dual core memory, those cheap chinese knock-offs are really where the innovation's at these days!
Seriously though, wouldn't touch this with a barge pole. 6" screen and only WVGA (around 800x480) resolution... that's gonna be seriously poor. You'd probably be better off getting a second hand galaxy note or something similar if you wanted a big screen.
