It was, silly. SoS has been known to bug on a few occasions, causing only the minstrel, or only a few members of the group to get benefit from it. Stop swinging your ass before you know facts.

The raid where i carried the Horn home is one of my best memories from this game.

It was a small raid led by Tyka with many of my old friends participating. I had never before been into the relic room (although i prolly was rr9 already ehrm) so i couldnt really get everything that Tyka was talking about... but somehow they decided that I was 2nd relic carrier. Gilead was primary carrier :)

As we hit the relic keep there was already lots of action in all 3 realms so defence was incoming... slow but hard.

Eventually we got away from the keep with the relic... ofc i hadnt still been in the relic room cuz i couldnt find my way in hihi.

On the way to the MG we heard reports of 7-8fg mids guarding it... and we were 2fg... then Gilead LD... omg... how do i pick up a relic ? And where did he ld ? I think Jahar gave me locs and even traded it to me... LOL i was excited now!

When we arrived to the MG it was swarmed by mids but some excellent play from our groups made me a way through the MG and the lonely warden ran for his life to the PK! I specially remember the adrenaline rush when we scouted the MG and waited for reports of mids whereabouts.

ah yes! this was indeed great fun :)

The amount of times we suspected being spotted close to the MG just added up to a great experience..

:fluffle:

My point was that if a morning raid fails because SoS is bugged, you did something wrong from the beginning... and can't blame it entirely on a bugged RA :p

But it was still one of the funniest mornings in DAoC history :) Though it wouldn't have been that funny if you made it to atk with the relic

Mids allways confuse 8:00am with 8:00pm I guess.
Mids have yet to do a prime time raid on Albion (well, the passed year or so).
But I guess it is even longer back, when I was stuck in Lyonesse trying to get my armsman to lvl 50.

The fact i mentioned Killgorde should of been enough of a clue, but to make it even easier look at the The history of Excalibur updated post, then look down the list for the entry that includes killgorde and 2000.
