Reading most of these posts you would think that Hibs/Mids had never even taken a keep after 9pm, let alone raid a relic.

I remember the last hib attempt on the mid relic, it was done at around 1am and as soon as it was done all the mids poured onto BW and couldn't hold back how amazing and well organized they thought the hibbies were.

When it comes to relic raiding Mids/Hibs have double standards. If they attack each other at whatever time using whatever tactics with whatever numbers, they have shown honour (in a game WTF?) and great planning but when it comes to albs we are always LAME, regardless of time, tactics or numbers.

Now I think i'll go PLAY the GAME

Prolly would have been better if the albs got the str relic back, i feel sorry 4 there tanks seeing as most casters can out dmg em with staffs (snowblind)

But ye any realm that can get 40-50 high lvls from only a couple of guilds at shit AM in the moening has far 2 many school hoppingkiddies on it

IT WAS NOT A PLANNED ATTACK

we got fucking bored at fensalir waiting for mids to attack so we took glenlock which had high lvl doors so we decided to take bled for sum rams...then sum1 suggest in chat that we tried to take relic...1 guild had a few rams left over so we decided to use them and have a go....

to killgorde...big difference between 40 and 60 people espcially when we only had 1 mass messer so all the gaurds were active at most of the time...you on the other hand get healing classes with stun mess etc etc whine whine etc

Frankly we were bored sitting around waiting for u to have the guts to attack our 2fg's at fensalir, so we decided to take a few more keeps to get ur attention... still u didnt come out to play so we thought 'ah why not' - gave it a try, failed, c'est la vie.

I dont know, why dont u tell us after ur last raid? Noones taken a defended relic yet. Closest has been by Hibs at Snowdonia. So really the art is just catching the particular realm with its eye off the ball in primetime (4yrs till the next World Cup final). Or... something

Well I'm quite prepared to accept that, but if you broke down all the doors without resistance would you have taken the relic? Or would you have shrugged your shoulders and said "or well this is boring, let's try when mids are defending".

Actually I think the Albs could also have done it in Dagda, when they suicided due to Mids at Excalibur - At Snowdonia, we did pretty well, but got wiped by an insane guard pop on the last door, you Albs were also shaping up to get inside the keep at least, and had zerged most of our forts that day, so guards wouldn't be an issue for you.

It would be interesting to see you try it again, with our Master Eldritches ready and waiting.

I was at Fensalir last night with First Cohort and others earlier in the evening, hoping some Mids would at least make an effort to take it back, but it appeared that they were all off in Albion taking our keeps.

When we were left with none of our own keeps, we figured a Relic attempt was in the pipeline, and those of us who hadn't logged through boredom headed to Excalibur to join the other Albions gathering there to defend.

Well, a raid never materialised and we dispatched groups to take back our keeps and managed to get them all back in short order with little resistance.

At this point, a significant proportion of the force involved in the keep retakes, myself included, logged off (since it was 2am!).

When I left, there was general discussion about heading to Midgard and taking a load of keeps in revenge for them having taken all of ours. A Relic attempt was mentioned, but with the significantly reduced numbers it was recognised that there wasn't much chance of success and the idea was dismissed.

To be honest, it probably wouldn't have gone so far if some Mids had bothered to come out and made some attempt to shift us out of Fensalir (people got bored sitting round and waiting for some action!) instead of just sitting around the Border Keep!

Edit: With the significant changes that have been made to the Relic keeps, I personally think it would be better if the Relics were all reset to their own realms and we start with a clean slate. That way no-one has the benefit of having a Relic defended by Uber guards when they didn't have to fight through Uber guards to take it!

Since 50-60 remained to attack the mid relic, that mean since u said many logged 15-20 logged after fensalir camping for a while.
So ya guys managed to gather 70+ RvR capable men women and childrens at 0400 in the morning.
for a "keep raid" that just was to have som fun in keep defending.

So to sum it out it took 70+ or more albs to take fensalir?

That should mean that atleast 45% of the total mid inhabitants at the time was RvR capable at lvl45+.

And just figured, oh lets pull some uber guards from relic keep X and gain no exp/rps and just piss people off, by getting their friends wake em up in the middle of the night to protect the Relic.
If that was my view of fun, i would electrocute my balls against a electric fence til i died.

This is just attempting to quench the flames with poor excuses and lies.

If you actually bothered to read what I posted properly before launching into a misinformed rant, I said we were at Fensalir earlier in the night.... I went back to Alb before Midnight, and was taking back our keeps until 2am - after which I logged.

Lets jsut get this straight. The game doe NOT stop when you go to bed. Attacking a relic when its undefended is the only way to take it. The most likely time to find the keep undefended is when you are all asleep.

Therefore, you call albs lame for following an obvious course of logic to attack when they are most likely to succeed?

Ok PLEASE get your fact straight before going in two-footed with numbers. FC and HB took fensalir with 3FG and a few friends, and then sat on our hands. When we got bored we went back to bledmeer, met with some more albs, and went for other keeps and the relic. There weren't anywhere near 60 albs in fens.
