3 words describe the relic gaurds

un fucking beliveable

instant repop sodding joke...i heard it was fast (1st raid since patch) but not THAT fast jesus christ i always had 1-2 purple gaurds on me and when i was chasing mids about normally a few blue bloody hell....

u either need 100 odd peeps to take the gaurds...

OR

have all the keeps

30-40 peeps with only 4 keeps is urm..suicidal

Yeah Alb raid repelled successfully.

Damn lame though at 4.30 am. Come on albs...try PRIMETIME.

I got to bed 3 hours after I wanted to...the few thousand RP helps ease the pain though :)

And still Mids have taken a relic back already. And last week both Mids and Albs took a shot at our relic (right after another), and got the first door down pretty quickly before we arrived to take care of em... it's not impossible; just very hard ( ;

Why do you think the americans attacked iraq during the nights?=)
because thats when they were hardest to spot and peeps was sleeping maby?

dont think any general with some strategic sence would attack during "primetime" to get a strategic point. Its like walking onto a minefield because the enemy wants you too:p

um, I would just like to point out that the mids took their relic back primetime, least you can do is extend them the same courtesy.

I think we should make a rule, if your relic goes missing in the wee hours, there is no shame in getting it back at the same time. I think it's pretty stupid to abide by a rigorous code of honour with regards to relics if opposing kingdoms will not partake in honourable warfare.

Um, how about because real peple die in real wars? In daoc, you lose some glowing pixels. Don't be a complete pratt by comparing a relic raid in a game to a real war.

Its a GAME and anyone can do whatever they want whenever they want. If there was any illigal against taking a relic atr 5am then there woulld be closed portal keeps dont u think?=)

Well as some ppl stated I think this was done in pure boredom cause mids didnt want to play at fensalir (I wasnt there but watched Fensalir go down) Seems like they got some action from you mids atleast

Stop complaining about raid time, they didnt take it from you did they? I would call this and exercie on the guardspawn and stuff.
I have been pulling guards once at a relic keep with new pop, and it was insane, and we just did it to pull out mids which we succeded in that time

I think (for a troll its quite a bit) that all this nonsense originates from when X took a relic from Z and Z felt en empty void and decided to fill it with "pass the blame" , and started throwing excuses, then it all went out of hand. Now its all about quotes and stupid remearks, if they want to take X at XX:XX .... why not? If Y find it more fun to take it back at primetime .. go for it? but did A have fun while he took X at XX:XX HELL YEAH!! did Y have fun taking X back at primetime OH YEAH he did!!

so whats the point, as long as you have fun who cares really.. if you dont like it maybe you should get out of daoc for a while.

Or move to prydwen to get rid of the noice ;)

It's a bit like using buffbots: some people think it's worth the extra money to get an advantage. With night relic raids, some people think it's worth staying up all night to get an advantage. The advantage being no opposition of other players. Personally I don't mind that much and will have fun regardless, but I can understand it pisses some people off; if they want to get the same odds, they feel forced to make late hours too.

As you said it's a GAME, so don't compare to real wars. That is ludicrous.

Nol is right. If mid can primetime raid, then surely albion can too with larger numbers? But no, some people would rather have the EASY route of few defenders. It's not about fairness, it's about cowardly, lame tactics. These raiders have no HONOUR.
