I was just playing with one of those spellcrafting tools, and it had the cap of power percentage set to 25%. But here on the forum I heard you could have 75%?

So now I'm curious as to what the caps are on Power Percentage and Spell Duration, anyone know?

basic caps are 25%

but you can get +powercap items that increase powercap by upto another 50%.

So if you have +50powercap on your template and +75%power you will have 75%power.

no.

If you have +50power cap and 25%power percentage you will have .. just 25%power percentage.

If you have 0 power cap and 50%power percentage on your sc you will have .. just 25% power percentage.

If you have 50powercap and 75%power percentage on your sc you will have ... 75% power percentage.

Ok, so without +50 powercap the effect of +75% Power percentage is still +25%. However, the cap on the items is +75%. Thanks, that's what I needed to know. :)

So for powercap values - its a percentage and not a "point" amount? ie. is +50 powercap the same as saying +50% powercap ?

both

+powercap items add to both %powercap and basic powercap (which is worthless really).
