hey hibbies!
i moved to hibernia from albion like a week ago because i fed up albion after 2 years.....
my story is... first i started daoc in hibernia long time ago, still have screenies with tankster in bg1 (he had another friend called blabla girl too, was bard) had a lvl 24 blademaster called Lalunya... kk i was a complete n00b about game on those days and i got angry with my turkish guild, deleted my char and moved to albion with some other friends... had a 50 scout, 50 inf and a cleric (not a bb ).. like 3 months ago i deleted all my chars and moved to mid... rolled a savage ...... and i understood that those fucking liddul things pissing people's game.. deleted it too and moved back to alb... had another infil until lvl 46 and when i was drunk like a week ago i moved to my starting lands...
in general i am really happy in hib (after deleting all those char, fast lvling with good people who knows how to play their chars made me feel happy and those lots of green places ) anyway....
i become lvl 41 and heard some an exp spot called fins... 3 days ago in the morning like 3:00am i asked about to join called radioactive and he helped me too much, like some one shown me the day to spot from DC.... kk i know this is too long for a BW forum reader
i asked radioactive again for group today (i heard some other people playing that char too) and he told me that he dont care about the fin list and i should fo if i dont have a menta bot or druid bb.... i was like WTF going over here? isnt that spot is high lvl exp spot and i am a lvl 41,5 druid with mcl 2 serenity 2 and i dont wanna be a bb!!!! (honestly killed some of my old friend when i moved to hib as a last present..) .....
my point is: please help me about high lvl exp spot or lets kick those bastards's arse from that fin spot list holding... and how the hell can i exp until lvl 50?? i dont have a bb or a mental bot.. i have some irl life... just wanted to say that he really pissed me off and i hope not every list holder is like him... thank you for reading... and know that im really pissed off..

Well yeah , lvl 50s have been PLing their alts at fins for ages now and yeah it's annoying and no you can't much about it

Only advice i have is start a Warshades grp or something.
It's a hard work and need some patience and sometimes ppl leave when they get killed once but that's DAoC i suppose.......

Well, my attitude dont come from my RR. the time ive played might have gave some new contacts and getting to know more ppl, and therefor you become more relaxed and aint afraid to say stuff and do various stupid things :>

it was me playing radio both times. before i start, i would ask you what your purpose is with this thread?

so.

1) there are now laws or rules about fins, goa havnt said "there must always be a list at fins". the list have been invented to be able to keep a fins grp strong and stabile, and at the same time getting good exp.
the faster ppl can level, the more ppl can level.

2) the listkeeper is king. he decides what to do, as long as the group approves it. and since they generally want to get the hell out of there, they choose the "give best exp" option rather then "lets invite that poor lvl 40 nightshade".

3) the listkeeper is mostly a bit busy, and getting flames/pms/questions all the time. if the listkeeper also have been pulling the last 10 hours, he might be a bit grympy.

now, we had a group containing of some leeches, lvl 50 pbaoers, menta bot, druid and warden iirc. the druid, who was full nurt spec, was leaving. as you might not know, buffs tend to make a big role in focuspulling.
and you had bad luck in that current situation, since you are not nurture specced.

however you were not first druid in the list. there were 3 or 4 druids before you. so even if i would be forced to invite a druid without buffs, it would not be you. i tried to explain this, but you just didnt want to listen.

as a notice i can say that i replied each and everyone who asked "what number am i on list m8 pliiz" with "you are #x mate, but i can give you names from the list if you want to start a 2nd grp".

everyone said "no thx, cant be arsed".

Tbh i can´t really see why u have to be a rude little prick to make good grps?
You prolly remember me as the menta + chanter leech, that u so kindly let to be stayed as number one when menta left and got someoen in grp to get a bot.
When list doesn´t work anymore, htf do u expect urself to get in grp?

sadly some chars get passed around like rent boys for people to use and abuse, often rude to everyone and eventually get hacked so i wouldnt worry about them. If someone is overley rude to you you can report them to right never and they will happily close your question 3 days later. alternativly you could press the lfg box and join one of them, go and hang around AF, usually a couple of TS groups starting up.

And to lalu, as said before make your own groups. Fins is boring anyway and there are lots of other places like Fomorians where i'm sure they can use a druid.

you and your leech didn't fit into the group at the time you were PM'ing me constantly.

as you didnt stop talking/whining, i had to act more short against you after a while; you just didnt want to listen.

and FYI, i might not be much of a roleplayer, but when someone /rudes you as a listkeeper, you are off the list faster then you can cast your MR.

i might not have done the best job as a listkeeper, but i did however my best, trying to keep a good grp and let ppl get fast exp.

the group never thought i did any wrong (at least they didnt say anything). so group > you, sorry.

i haven't been to fins for how long, but theres one thing that most ppl likes (or prefers) to think about the list.

the fins is as any other mob spot, it can be claimed, and there are no "rules".

the list is there so the group can continue going, not for ppl to join with their lvl40 nishtshades and leech.

Sad to see that the finslist has become like this... When I leveled at fins there were clear rules or norms which were followed (mostly).

Tanks were welcomed on the list from lvl 42 (if i remember correctly) healers and mages from 40 and rangers/ns from 43-44. NS and rangers were on the tanklist and as welcomed as heros/champs if they met the level requirements. Efforts were made to keep the group full at all times and there were no low lvl leechers in group.

This way ANY char had the posibility of getting from lvl 40ish to 50 in a reasonable (but boring) time.

kk i "might" be wrong but when u have a list, then one who is nr1 is the next to get grp. Like MR goes, then new MR.
Not picking and choosing for who has best leech etc.
And tbh i could prolly get grp just with my chanter, lvl42 mana. Won´t mention anything else since i dont like flames, just please point me in the right direction since it seems im completly off regarding the list.
