IT expert breaks down on radio

Just listening to a London radio phone-in show and they had this IT expert on there. People would phone up with various probs re computers, iPods, etc and he'd give them advice. Then this IT expert suddenly breaks down live on radio in tears, wailing his head off. Apparently his fiance just left him, and what with Xmas round the corner, he just broke down in tears and was useless for the last 30 mins. The presenter kept telling him to pull himself together, that it was unprofessional, that he was an embarassment. People phoned in telling him he was a gibbering wreck.

I was torn between laughing and then feeling incredible pity for the poor bloke. Was the most surreal piece of radio I've heard for years.

Just wanted to share that.

It was the Iain Lee show 3:00pm-6:30pm (still on now) - think the guy was on between 3-4pm. You can almost certainly get the podcast of it.

For some reason Christmas seems to be quite a popular 'I'm leaving' time. My best mate got dumped by his wife of 4 years for a close work colleague. She announed it on X-mas eve and said she wanted him out the house by Christmas. He came out to Dubai that evening to get away from the situation. He stayed 3 weeks and went back in a better frame of mind.

The fooking bitch is still amazed we won't talk to her!

He's now very happy and shacked up with an actress who is miles better looking than his ex wife.

Advice - get drunk talk to your mates, not necessarily at the same time. Try and get away from the situation to clear your head. Then get on with your life. You will find something better in the end.
