issue about pet VS archers

i thought pets in defesive auto-attacked enemies that hits they master...right?

so why in the hell when i get shot by the parasites the archers the damn pet does do damn thing?

is it supose to be like this?

pet has to be within some range of the archer, probably 1500, else it willl just stand there. And cos archers can attack you fom 2k+ range they will avoid getting close enough to aggro your pet.

believe if u can /face the person without it coming up "the target is too far away to face!" then the pet will automatically run to attack him, but i might be wrong

If its a cabby amber pet it bugs lots of time especially if u con buff it.

the pet doesnt attack anything hitting you if its not within range on aggressive, it will always attack your attacker (its not failed me yet) if it is set to defense.

You probably had a dodgey pet if it watched you die (its rare, but it happens)

Pet needs to be on defensive for it to attack stuff that hits you automaticly, the only time i've had it not work was VS volley at apk.
Aggro isn't much use because its like a mobs aggro range and that isn't much, its handy for stealthers that you see through stealth as then if you wack it on aggro it should get them

Cant count the times i saved my fellow casters who got jumped by a SB or NS.
