It is about focus not about impartiality. One is an international news broadcaster the other an national one.

Impartiality is so much crap imo, news is reported and made by people. I have never met an impartial person so how can you expect a journalist to be that? Of course it is going to be slanted to one view or the other.

Sorry what? The BBC touts itself as the international news broadcaster, and it used to be the byword for balanced reporting. Unfortunately despite being "non-commercial" (in theory, rather than practice), the licence fee is used by government to force the beeb to toe the line, and few people are left in the BBC with balls to tell them to fuck off. So you have a BBC playing on its historical reputation when in reality they're as beholden to outside interests as Fox or CNN but its worse because at least with the Americans its obvious.
