There's always going to be dickheads who send kids out to die.

What we shouldn't be doing is attempting to justify either actions so that other kids feel like it's a good idea.

Don't normally give a toss about the xmas number 1, however.

The fallout from the gammons would be something to behold.

It's also pretty moving...

It's the only vid I've seen where I can't get closed caption subtitles?

I mean, it's pretty shit as a christmas song, but I'm glad some people are going to be angry about it

I hope someone follows Keir Starmer around with an old style Ghetto Blaster playing it loud. :)

He's not wrong though is he?
I made the same point in the palestine thread this week and @Gwadien posted some limp wristed rebuff regarding "justification".

Stating clear and obvious realities doesn't lend justification to anything. So I agree, he's not wrong.

No. The law only applies to Palestinians @Gwadien.

Where's @Wij to tell us that the laws in Israel are equal eh?

Lol:

Some fascist Zionist cunt said:
"Let's be accurate, my bill talks about terrorists and about an act of terrorism, there's no discrimination here. The definition is very clear," he says. "It's true that I don't think there's such a thing as a Jewish terrorist or a Jewish act of terrorism. It's a legal definition. I didn't go any other way."

The state of Israel literally came into being thanks to terrorists, one of their number even became Prime Minister.

It's amazing how selective the Zionist memory seems to be.

Lets be fair - it's human memory. We're all like that to some extent.

However, inherent superiority is a part of many religions but completely fundamental to judaeism so it's entirely unsurprising that the prevaling (not niche) narrative is that everyone else is lesser.

It's almost like there's a problem for which a 'solution' might be needed eh?

Although, certainly not the rather famous one ...

See, I don't think it has anything to do with Judaism, I think it absolutely has everything to do with the Holocaust and the fact the rest of the world felt/feels bad for them so let them do what they wanted.

I think if we had an alternate universe where Jews were pushed out of Europe by anti semitism post ww2, but without the Holocaust, liberalism would eventually support them creating a state and helping them with the Islamic States but not to the extent of what they're up to now, we'd see gratefulness, not entitlement.

You need to study it a bit...

lol.

Israel isn't Judaism, they're Jews.

The OG Jews are the ones who aren't in Israel and many oppose the creation of Israel.

I don't know how you can say European Jews had a drive for superiority...

I'm saying there is an underlying problem with the religion.

There are with all religions. But there are subtle differences. And this particular flavour of fairy-worshipping asshattery can lead to a very serious 'chosen people' issue.

It doesn't lead to jihadism. But if you read the sentence @DaGaffer quoted above and think there's no foundational conceit linked to the religion then you're misreading the issues.
