isn't 20% enough for infils [whine]

I was tired of playing rm, beacause it requires group to be in rvr. I thought that it was time to exp sb, so i can buff up and go soloing, maybe have some nice 1 vs 1 with infils and other classes.

I dunno if I whine for nothing, been playing stealth class in rvr only week now, but why on earth infils need to camp and do rvr in groups? Ususally when I look up enemies in emain I end up zerged at least 2 infils, usually more. So looks like that I need a group even with sb

Maybe it's so lonely job being a stealther that you need company to travel with you, be4 you go insane?

everyone group so beeing solo is a bit dangerous.
and most none stelthers are grouped so being a solo stelther aint that easy if you aint playing whit radar or something.

Well, if you want to solo I would suggest you stay out of emain. The constantly high population there doesn't make it ideal for soloing. A lot of the time if you are getting jumped by lots of Infils you'll mostly find they aren't actually grouped, but you are passing a milegate or such and there are just so many of them about.


Myself, if I go to emain nowadays I pretty much have to duo with another inf to beat the SBs that come as 2, 3, 4 or 5 together (SBs have been hunting in packs for a very long time).

Btw I often solo (as in completely alone AND unbuffed). Trick to making a fair amouth of rpoints like that (have no illusions you will never be able to get what you would get in a group or if you were fully buffed) is to stay away from the milegates and to move locations alot along busy running routs. Luck is involved a bit too you can pick your kill spot along a travel rout well but if a few infils in your case spot you making a kill as they happen to pass by you are most likely gonna get hunted down.
My advice would be get buffs whenever you can and learn the spots where ppl pass alot. NOT the milegates unless you feel suicidal or are grouped.

i solo when i can, 90% of the time unbuffed, but every milegate has 3-4 buffed infils camping it.

i gave up soloing 3weeks ago...no buffs cant do nothing in emain. Usually got ganged. Wasn't fun to run emain 20+ times and get ganged everytime and got less than 5k rps

as for the 20% infil got i say cheer to that cause things are well balanced now

i wouldnt even dare thinking of a sb with 20% melee bonus. it would be humiliating to say the least

best thing is assasin 4-4 where everythings seems so quite after a while its a bloodbath and i really njoy that even if i fall 1rst cause i am low rr and they think i am an easy target :O

funny incident at amg other night, resting after being rezzed facing a wall Tiara decides to BS2 me (still rezsick so what do i care) i /wave, korv stood behind her for the PA when i turn around no doubt, then 2 infils pop and own them both

I always grp with other stealthers with my inf over on alb/prydw... cos it is teh funneh... but i would never, EVER, grp with non-stealthers again.. to many times ive suffered the same fate as Zilly (in his thread about SB in a "normal grp").

And the balls thing... its a game... if its fun... then go with it.. if you dont like it.. stay clear

As the game now has been out for almost a year things have changed a lot. I remember in the good ald day when I was arround lvl 30 and going out solo i Emain and still have a good time, beacuse there were only a handful of lvl 50 INF/SB/NS active.

Then came:

Minimum lvl 45+

Minimum lvl 50

Minimum lvl 50 and buffed

Minimum lvl 50, buffed and grouped

Minimum lvl 50, buffed, grouped and RR5+

Even with buffs there are some places in Emain you should avoid if solo, beacuse there is a real threath that you wil bump into grp of INF, and the same goes for an INF facing grp of SB's. I have seldom seen grp of NS, so INF = SB when it comes to grping.
If you want to solo, you must find another place than Emain it's as simple as that. I like to play solo with SB's, and that is why you seldom find me in Emain

VS critblade's a win's very easy, vs 5 spec its about even, vs a shadow zerker then you may aswell run away

It's about trust. Any screenshot could be tampered with, so where should we turn, to GOA's logs? And secondly, there are a few factors that talk in favor of this screenshot being taken the few seconds after the kill: (1) the SB has not released yet (most assassins do immediately); (2) Belth has not restealthed yet (in a hostile frontier zone, a road); (3) notice the state of the health bar; (4) there are no buff dropped messages in the chat.

Dragonfang pwnz at the right time. Noxrediz got pwnz0red by DF at 49, shouldn't gerbilize after infil evades your attack. Could be the fact that I was getting "group-bonuses" (for hitting/evading) why the SB got butchered.

How would you know they're shitty? There's Strength (more damage), Cons (more HP) and AF. Healer buffs, better than my none. I had to pop IP though, but hits of 200+ from SB (5-spec, 99.5% sure of it) means the buffs aren't shitty. No 5-spec hits for 200+ on Doublefrost, no buffs or shitty buffs. And no I wasn't buffed at that moment, bit later I was though.

I've 14% slash resists. If I see a SB hitting me for 200+, I know they're buffed (they've been buffed every time sofar)... If they hit for 300+, they're (usually buffed) SZ's. Around 170-180 is closer to normal damage from a 5-spec's DF.
